The outside of the property, the lobby, bar/restraunt, pool and all the main areas are nice. The rooms on the other hand definitely need some updating. You could tell the were updated a few years ago but have had a lot of use/wear since. The carpets were gross and stained and it could overall use a refresh. When we booked our room on Expedia it said it was a king room that slept 4 so we booked it assuming it had a pullout couch which would have been just fine with our 2 younger kids. When we checked in and got to the room it was just a king bed. We called the front desk and explained the situation and they said we could pay the difference to upgrade the room. I didn’t think that was right so I told the lady that we would just keep the room unless we could get it for free since it was one night and we got there around 9PM anyway. We never did hear back from her. On the plus side the pool is nice and clean and warm besides the slide part which was a little chilly but the kids had fun and that was the main reason we picked the hotel anyway.

We had a great stay, the only thing I didn’t like about it was that after parking that evening, I had to walk all the way around the building to regain entry because of an event going on.

Hot tub and pool overcrowded.

The primary reason I booked this hotel was the hot tub. It was good, but on Sunday night there were so many people it was chaos. They should have a separate Hot tub for Adults and children. I have stayed in a couple places that did that. Monday the Hot tub was closed all morning and into the afternoon. I asked the desk to call my room when it was open. I never got the call. With Temperatures outside -20 t hot tubs are important. Perhaps a warning if there is number of children staying. There was a lot.

Overall, very disappointing

Disappointing compared to the other two hotels we stayed at. Hot tub wasn’t working. No mention on issue when checking in. No bathtub in the room. No complimentary breakfast for the family. Paid for extra person but yet searched hotels.com for 5 people and the room accommodations were for 6 people.
