"This is a charming historic hotel in a small but lively downtown district. I absolutely loved everything about it, from the historical backstory to the somewhat retro decor (but it has all the modern conveniences, too -- wifi, lots of outlets, etc.). I was especially impressed by the warm, welcoming staff. I'd stay here again anytime."

"The on-site restaurant named Tempestas was excellent and a huge plus for our 3-night stay. We ate there every night and were pleased with the food, service, atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. On a broader note, the hotel was nice, staff very helpful and I should mention that the breakfast one of the best I've had on 3 continents, aided by a hostess who was friendly and took lots of pride in serving hot food and keeping the food and coffee fresh."

"My wife and I traveled down for Family Weekend at Franklin-Pierce and this was a perfect for what we needed. We spent most of the time with our daughter on campus/exploring the area, but the cabin was a perfect refuge to return to after all the busy-ness. Lydia was in active communication from the time we booked until the time we checked out and was very responsive anytime we had a question on something. It's obvious they want you to enjoy your stay as there isn't much you could want that isn't already present in the cabin on arrival. We ate on campus/out during our stay, but had we stayed in the kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and cookware we could have needed.Between the above and the distance to campus, 10 minutes, it was a perfect location, and we'll be back as college events bring us down."
