The staff is very friendly. The hotel is Ok. Old and in need of updating. Rooms and hallways smell musty and there aren’t really any amenities. The location is good and the continental breakfast is not bad. Good value for an overnight stay.

The staff at this location were lovely--very welcoming and helpful. I appreciated each interaction I had with them. Unfortunately, the property is "well worn" and fairly depressing. The nightly rate (probably set for foliage season) was far too high for these accommodations.

TV did not work for the entire stay. Manager said Direct TV was working on it, but 18 hours without TV for the whole facility is a little much. Not sure what else manager could have done, but I expected more.

Stay away like your life depends on it

1 star because you can’t do zero stars. The entire place smells HORRIBLY. The carpet is so dirty we were afraid to walk on it barefoot. Everything is covered with dust. Walls, ceiling, fixtures. The coffee maker is covered in dirt and dust. The bedspread is dirty. The bathroom wall opposite of the toilet is splattered with something that I am afraid to guess. The sink, tub/shower, floor is dirty. The exhaust fan is caked with dust. The A/C unit is dusty and internally covered in mold. Day two we checked out early because there was no hot water. Took all week to get a refund for second day. I asked other guests and was told their rooms were dirty. Would have not stayed at all but no rooms were available in the area. Hallways smelled of weed the entire time. So much for no smoking. Side doors were not locked. Anyone was free to enter. Desk clerk was out smoking every time I want by, not watching the security cameras.

Stopped for a night here while passing through to Maine. As soon as we got into our room there was a horrible smell, I couldn’t tell exactly what it was but it didn’t smell clean. There were stains on both the beds and when I untucked the blankets to check for bedbugs another horrible smell came from it. I do not think the bedding was cleaned between guest. Another concern that I had was the lock seem to have been broken right off the door. As a single mother traveling with three children. This concerned me the most. When I went down to the front desk to tell The guy at the desk about the broken lock, he seemed annoyed that I brought it up. I told him that the lock was broken right off, he said OK? I asked him if there was another form of a lock that I can use. He said he would send somebody up to look at it, nobody ever came up. I do travel a lot by myself with my children, but this was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in first thing in the morning we were out!
