Unfortunately there was an outage due to lightening. We lost half the power in our room, again it wasn't their fault. Maintenance took too long to address some issues we were having with our key. The front door had a hard time shutting along with the bathroom door. Some of the plugs weren't working in the room as well.

Dislikes - No clock on night table. Only clock was on the stove, and that was not yet changed for Daylight Savings Time 5 weeks earlier. So, I had the incorrect time, and got up an hour too early one day, and lost an hour's sleep. Could use a spatula in the kitchen, drinking cups for the bathroom sink. Walls are thin, awakened at 2:00am by people walking around upstairs. Likes - nice, large room, with living room area. Decent kitchen, comfortable.

Room was good. The biggest thing that bothered me was when I checked out on Travelocity I selected pay at the property. I know normally you have to input a card to hold your reservation but my card was charged two days before I checked in.

Arrived to check in to the hotel and the hotel had cancelled our reservation. I had received a new debit card and they had tried charging my card 48 hours earlier. Of course the charge wouldn't go through. The hotel never contacted me. I arrived about 20-30 minutes after the available check in time and they had cancelled my reservation. The staff was not helpful at all. The lady insisted that they had called (which somehow they didn't have my complete number) and emailed me (which I had NO EMAIL from them), told me I booked it through expedia, which I hadn't done that either. They had already given away our room so here I was with family and children and no where to stay. The hotel said they were booked and couldn't do anything for us. So now we had to sit in a parking lot and try to find another place to stay, which luckily we were able to but it cost us another $200. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PLACE. The attitude of the staff is what really set me off. We are sitting there trying to check in, in a unfamiliar place and don't offer any help of suggestions. Not even an apology for the mixup. And then to be lied to.
