The Moulton is the definition of New England hospitality. A 100 year old hotel that is clean and well furnished with new mattresses and crisp linens. Care is given to make the whole space feel relaxing. The location is ideal, and the AC works great. The staff is amazing and treats everyone like family. In fact, the entire hotel makes you feel like you are family. The common area is comfortable and inviting. Complete strangers gather there nightly to visit and share the ocean view. Thank you to the wonderful family that runs the hotel, we had a better vacation for having stayed at the Moulton.

I was apposed to get a queen bed. I got a full and twin bed. Room was small and bathroom was very small. Don't know if the other rooms bigger.

room was clean bathroom small but doable we had a balcony with ocean view which we enjoyed watching the waves we had a big truck so their parking could not accommandate it so had to park in the alley behind the hotel that was the only negative of our visit

Easy check in. The owner was very nice and gave Us a great room. Very clean. It’s old, but most of the hotels there are. Perfect location. Walk out the front door and head To the beach. Will definitely stay again.

The property was dirty, the carpets were not vacuumed or cleaned in years. The room was dirty and nothing like the picture on the web page. One bed had clean sheets but the other one was dirty. The view was the only good thing about this hotel.

Staff was great, especially Jose at the front desk, who was very welcoming and friendly! The hotel is in a great location, right on the boardwalk but the room was in the back so it was quiet which was nice. Location was also very convenient to the starting line and finish line for the Smuttynose Half which is the reason I was in town.

i had a wonderful time. the room was a little small but the deck overlooking the beach made up for that. the bathroom was also small but not an issue with us. the staff were wonderful.Sarah was extremely nice and very helpful. I will stay there everytime I visit!!

Basic hotel close to the beach

Pros: Close to beach, and clean
Location: It's at the beach. Lots of shopping
This is just a basic hotel. Nothing fancy. It is across the street from the beach, and the lobby has a front balcony for nice views. We went to check in two hours after the suggested check in time. We were told that our room wasn't ready. The room hadn't been cleaned yet. About 20 minutes later we were able to get into our room. There were 2 queen size beds and a fold out sofa. It just a basic room with a bathroom, small fridge, microwave and A/C. That's it, but what else do you really need? It was clean and quiet. The A/C worked well. The staff gave us a bottle of wine and a second parking spot for our other car for our inconvenience of waiting to check in. That was nice of them. The main parking area is very tiny, drivers beware. They also offered a continental breakfast that was actually pretty good. It worked well for a family of five.
