Welcome to your ultimate getaway! Experience the charm of our cozy Yurt, nestled on 35.5 private scenic acres. If you are seeking a country living on the Great Plains with breathtaking 360-degree views, sunrises to the East, and stunning sunsets over the Rocky Mountains, look no further. Embrace the rustic outdoor living experience. Unplug and enjoy the simplicity of off-grid living. Book your stay at our Yurt and create unforgettable memories surrounded by nature's beauty.
The space
As our Yurt is off the grid, there is no power or bathroom facilities. However, don't worry! We've got you covered. We provide a portable charger, candles, and battery-powered string lights to create a cozy ambiance. Next to the Yurt, you can find an outhouse, and upon request, we can hang a solar shower bag for your convenience.

Inside the Yurt, you will find a kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including spices, sugar, honey, tea, coffee, flour, oil, vinegar, and 10 gallons of drinking water plus pots and pans. If you are a barbecue enthusiast, make use of the grill on the porch. We also provide a large cooler, so be sure to bring your own ice. The Yurt's porch wraps around, allowing you to relax and take in the stunning surroundings. We have even built a windbreak to ensure your comfort.

Don't let winter deter you from experiencing the magic of our yurt. We provide you with plenty of firewood to build a fire in the woodstove. It stays cozy year-round, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy the winter wonderland.

The Poudre Canyon is only a 10 minute drive away, offering the perfect escape. Enjoy activities, including hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, and kayaking.

Perfection!

The space was gorgeous and old-fashioned amenities made the stay even more special. It was nice to experience life off the grid and take in the views.

Great outdoor getaway with cozy bed

The yurt wad fabulous and had everything as described. Upon arrival we found it very clean and the bed was so so so comfortable! We went to a concert in old town, which was only 15 minutes away and spent the evening under the stars. The property is beautiful and well maintained. As somebody had mentioned in another review and I want to mention here the outhouse is a for real outhouse, (not the plastic kind on job sites but the nice wooden man-made kind) I knew that going into it and found it acceptable, but just like to highlight that for others who may be scrolling
 If you need or require a real plumbing, this outdoor adventurous year is not for you, but if you consider yourself a little bit more outdoorsy than consider this your new favorite place to go when you travel to Fort Collins! I know I’ll be back!!

Great getaway

We loved it here! We stayed in the late fall and it definitely got cold at night. The fireplace was fabulous, though, and kept us all cozy and warm. There was plenty of room outside to walk around and start gaze. We also had a big white dog come visit with and literally lay on top of me. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Cozy and unique!

My husband and I had a great stay at the yurt. It was definitely the coolest place we’ve ever booked. Communication with the host was great and the mountain views were breathtaking! We arrived at night and it was easy to find the yurt following the host’s directions. Google maps doesn’t seem to take you where you need.

Perfect retreat to unplug and reconnect

The yurt was very cool, and very well maintained. The reused billboard covering the yurt had me a little concerned, but it is part of the owner's overall vision or repurposing and reusing things.

Wonderful yurt getaway

The yurt was perfect. Cozy and warm, isolated and quiet. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching the sunset, enjoying the fresh air and breeze... If only we could do this every weekend!

A beautiful yurt and setting

My daughter and I stayed here and loved the cozy yurt, with so many thoughtful touches, as well as the gorgeous setting with the foothills and amazing sunsets. Close to town but you are in beautiful nature.

A lovely getaway!
