Even though the property is undergoing some renovations, it's very quiet. Convenient because they allow cruise parking and offer a shuttle to the cruise terminals however you MUST call the hotel and request this.

The hotel is under renovation. We had 30+ contractors on our floor at 7:30AM banging, cutting, singing, yelling… had we known it was under construction we never would have stayed. Completely unacceptable.

Had no idea they are doing a full renovation of this property. They put us on the 5th floor where they are doing full renovations. There might be 3 rooms on this floor available to sleep in and they gave us one of those rooms. 30+ workers in the halls cutting, hammering and making all kinds of noise staring at 7:30AM. Would have never booked this had I known

Property poor condition. Got locked out of bathroom , at 12:30am gave us another room did not even help us move. Room 107 holes in carpet, phone to front desk did not work, water all over carpet from a/c leak carpet filthy. Don’t recommend

1 Star – Worst Hotel Experience I've Ever Had

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I booked two rooms at Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port (through Hotels.com) for a work trip from July 7–9, 2025. After a long day, my colleague and I were looking forward to relaxing—but what we walked into was shocking. Both rooms were absolutely filthy. We encountered mold, stained carpets, dirty sheets, and an overwhelming mildew smell. There were also mosquitoes in the room, which added to the discomfort. We asked to be moved, and the second set of rooms was just as bad. We didn’t even stay the night—we checked out and had to find another hotel nearby. That’s how bad it was. While the front desk staff did what they could and were kind, this hotel is clearly neglected. I later reached out to the front desk manager with no response. Eventually, the general manager replied and initiated a refund process, but only after I insisted on a full refund, she only gave us a refund for one night and stated she will not give us “4 free nights”. We NEVER even stayed there so the fact she called it 4 free nights is horrible customer service. If you're considering this hotel, don’t. It was easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I travel often. Until serious changes are made, especially regarding cleanliness, this property should be avoided.
They state that many customers complain about these comforters but will not change them!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrific experience. Wallpaper coming off walls, stained carpets, pillows and comforters. Mold in the showers and there were bugs. The front desk girls were very nice and offered to change the room, but it wasn’t any better. Ended up not even staying because of the conditions and now the hotel will not refund the stay.

Crowded breakfast at the lobby

Booked a double bed but got a queen bed. Asked for an extra bed and they said no. Uncomfortable for a family of 4. Breakfast was crowded at the lobby and had no regular coffee. Near marina and Olas beach area.
