Our checkin experience was incredibly inconvenient! Upon arrival to the room we were assigned we found another family was already occupying the room. The resort is expansive and had to go all the way back to registration to get a new room, which I was told to go to resort services - they were closed - went back to the desk and was told to go to another desk. Got to the new room and found we had no parking pass. Made another trip to the registration building to get that. By the time all of this was sorted it was dark and our kids were upset. Tried to go play putt putt and the employee told us they were closing early because no one was there to play even though we wanted to play. Needless to say we left the resort to play putt putt. The room was clean and spacious, but I have no plans to return. Thankfully we only stayed a couple of days as a pass through spot.

The condos are extremely dated. There was a moldy odor, the fridge made a constant knocking sound, and overall it was rusty and dusty. With a complex that massive it does rub me the wrong way that towels for the pool are $25 per towel you misplace vs getting your towels at the pools and returning them before you leave the pool. It’s also $9 to use a tube in the lazy river. And the tv is cable and dvd only. It’s 2026, if nothing else let’s upgrade to smart TVs. The positives… the condo is spacious. You do technically have a working kitchen and there are many pools to pick from. Since the property is large there is a shuttle to take you around. They did have a huge firework show for the Fourth of July.

This location is one of the best resorts I’ve been in America. They have everything for the kids,adults, and all seniors. This property was clean and the staff was phenomenal. I would recommend this location for any family or family reunions. The rooms was spacious and did not feel like you were in a motel or a hotel individual room. The restaurants was reasonably priced and the food was great. We will definitely be going back.

The room was not what was described when we checked in. Our room was in the basement of the main lobby and the carpets were stained, the cabinets had stains on them and not that it was a big deal but it appeared they are room was placed next to a bunch of staff members. They did end up moving us but it was not the easiest to get done and after we impeached a car full of 5 people and 2 hours had gone by.

The checking in took half hour at 12:30 Am. Nauseating smell as we entered the room. Notified the receptionist. They sent someone to clean after 2 days. No room service for the whole four nights stay. Dishwasher was not working. WiFi was not working. They had to come in and upgrade the WiFi hardware in the morning, which took almost two hours. They were drilling the walls and it was very uncomfortable. Didn’t expect this at all from Holiday Inn. Very poor.

The main restaurants were closed for renovations. The hotel is dated even with the recent "renovations". Our room was dirty and dingy and none of the doors closed properly even though it was the most recently remodeled section. The river island is fun for kids, but would be much better with service around the pool as the lines to get food were very long. The shuttle drivers were all very kind and helpful. The hostess at Breezes was less than pleasant but once she saw our visual response to her behavior, she tried to change her attitude. This is a very large resort and very easy to get lost without the shuttles. While this resort met the minimal needs we had, we would not stay here again. Certainly not a 4.5 star resort as listed on the site.
