The house was close to the beach as listed. There is only one restaurant within walking distance so if you prefer walking this is not the ideal place to stay. The traffic is so bad it takes at least 40 mins (3 miles) to get to any other restaurants near Times Square if youâre going past 12pm. The heater for the pool and hot tub was not consistent, sometimes it would heat up fast, other times it would not. The pool water was very cloudy when we arrived and debris in the bottom. The property outside is not unkept well at all, there are weeds everywhere and old rusted patio furniture. Beds were ok for comfort but not great, cheap bedding on all of the beds. The dryer had to be ran for 3 cycles before it would dry a small load of clothes; the owner messaged asking if it was okay for the maintenance person to come fix it (without me telling them about the problem so they already knew it was an issue but did not tell us ahead of time) while we were gone, they did not let us know that they were unable to fix it so we ended up with two loads of wet clothes that took hours to dry. The house was not very clean. Not enough cooking dishes to make anything more than a simple meal. Plan to buy/bring extra garbage bags, paper towels, etc. The repairs done to the home were not quality, everything has been pieced together. Overall, the house did the job and fit our group of 8 very well and we enjoyed our time.
