Bare bones and outdated but fine for a night! Bed wasn’t bad. Only issue was the fact that the check-in and parking is at the hotel next-door so it was confusing. I would recommend that when the confirmation email is sent that they state that. Check-in was very easy.

I didn’t expect much for the price and I didn’t get it. It was ok, just, except for a few things like a number of power outlets not working and a shower that was more like a hose. I tried to point these issues out to the young guy at reception but he brushed me off with a @dont worry about it.” This hotel adjoins a slightly better one with the same owners and it’s clear they don’t care about the Formosa. For a lesser price I could have stayed at a Motel 6 with slightly better rooms but slightly worse neighbors. This is also a VERY noisy area with a busy train crossing and lots of construction. As I said, for the price it was just ok but you can do a lot better.

The first room...106 has a broken security bar and the security lock would not move. The guy in charge acted like it was ok, go try again, ask ok and I said NOT OK when there's no working lock on the door. When I wanted another room he needed to know if we'd use anything... cuz he was going to rent it out again. I said we didn't get past the door! The breakfast time guy was nice. Scrambled eggs were like rubber and the bathroom had a little unpleasant smell.
