This was by far the best VRBO experience I’ve had to date. The minute we walked through the front door, it was like a big hug. The house was fully stocked, and SO CLEAN! Personal touches everywhere, beautiful artwork down to a lighted Christmas tree. Our host was incredibly communicative, and that even showed in the house. Everything was labeled with care, and again, SO CLEAN! The beds were very comfortable, the couch was super cozy, the neighborhood was very quiet, I sincerely cannot say enough good things. Next time we’re in Fresno we will absolutely stay here again! 10 stars across the board.

This stay was far better than I could even ask for!! Not only is the property in a beautiful neighborhood, the house checks off all the boxes and then some for anyone. I have never stayed at a property where there is so much thought and effort put in for the guests. There is so much care put into the property and it is extended to the guests. Despite it being a quick weekend trip, my family and I quickly made ourselves at home and truly enjoyed our stay. My son is a student at Fresno State and it was nice to have a visit with him, without staying in a hotel. I enjoyed cooking, the outdoor space mornings and evenings and the cozy living room where we gathered to watch sports and play games. The host is next level amazing! Thank you again and always for allowing us to stay! Hope to visit again!

This home is very close to our grandchildren house. It’s perfect location for us and very comfortable home away from home. The house has everything we need to have a pleasant stay while we’re here. We hope it’s available for our next visit in the near future

Family time

This is our fourth or fifth rental. We find the property well taken care of, all the detail of cleaning attended to and the owner lives next door. Lighting in the living room is the only caveat, very shadowy and hard to read--but I do not like overhead fluorescent lighting fixtures! Close to good restaurants (Indian is spicy but excellent) and grocery stores.

Enjoyable stay

Quiet neighborhood, well equiped kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable bed. We were happily surprised about the Christmas tree in the living room. And our toddler had his own table and chair. We will go back there.

Casa Maravillosa!!

This is my first time using VRBO and it was an easy process. The house was in very good condition and good location. We absolutely loved all the decorations and furniture in the house. You can tell they love and take care of their house. Ours kids didn't want to leave and asked to come back for their vacation. We felt right at home. The house is very well equipped with everything in the kitchen, bathrooms, some games, and snacks. The owners communicated very well and are super friendly and welcoming. Fresno home for home

As a former resident of Fresno we return at least twice a year to see my special needs sister who lives in a retirement home. We bring her to Casa Barrera to get away from her routines and feel so luck to find this rental. It is a spacious and immaculately maintained. The host, Miriam, is so detailed in her care of the property before, during, and after our stay--kind and a listener. All necessities and more are present for a stay that evokes home. We have stayed three times and will return again.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Barrera. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we could ever need, and more! The hosts were also very friendly and accommodating of our needs. Smart TV with streaming apps like YouTube and Netflix. Incredibly fast internet too! They even had a small table for children with a few games to play with. Location is great with close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

Wonderful stay in a great part of Fresno!

This property was exceptional in every way. The listing is very accurate and the hosts were very polite and accomadating. The neignborhood is very nice, we felt very safe with our family which included 2 infants. There are plenty of restaurants, breweries, grocery stores, and anything else you may need nearby in walking distance. We had literally zero complaints. 5 stars is not enough. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Fresno area!

Cosy away from home

Excellent property in arrangement of rooms and owner's attention to guests. There is no "remote" feeling about this rental, the owner is hands on in the best way. I do suggest a few stand lamps in the living room for better lighting as well as an armchair or two for older adults. This was our second stay and we have already booked again. On this visit, my elder sister, who uses a walker, made her first stay away from her care facility. Everything worked out and she had a great getaway from routine.

The Perfect Home Away from Home

First of all, one of us is two years old. The home was exquisitely appointed, with colorful Mexican ceramics throughout. There was also a sun motif in several rooms. The VRBO was SO clean; and everything seemed new. Also, Miriam, our host, equipped this beautiful home with everything a family could possibly need! The kitchen had every type of cooking and food preparation supplies. It was all so attractive. Miriam and Iran Barrera were welcoming and accommodating. We are so Thankful that they made it possible for us to have the most wonderful Thanksgiving in Fresno.

Organized and Clean! Great Location!

This is a great place to stay in Fresno. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort and time into setting up this house for any need. I wish all VRBO owners put this much care into their property! Organized, clean, and this is coming from a neat freak. Location is great and safe. I will always look to rent this house the next time I bring my family to Fresno. Great central location in NE Fresno

This home is the cleanest, most welcoming, most well stocked VRBO that I have ever stayed in and I have stayed plenty of places. The owners are lovely and communication could not have been better. Kitchen is well stocked. Neighborhood is quiet. Many restaurants, grocery stores etc within a few minutes of driving time. A PLUS to the owners!

I was not there but my wife and daughter loved it!!! A++++++

I had to work but swim meets still go on. So my wife and daughter went for the meet. They relayed to me the following: 1) Beautiful location, 2) Super easy to ask questions and get help, 3) it was just an awesome experience. We have to do competitive swim meets in the area several times a year. This just might have been the best VRBO we have done for this purpose.
