3 Bedroom, Each with Private Bathroom, Sleeps 8, HOT TUB, Gas firepit, Log Cabin on a Mountain

Owner managed property. 5 large smart TVs! Located on top of the mountain less then 7 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Quiet and secluded cabin with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and metal roof. Gas fireplace. Three private bedrooms with each with own private bath and TVs. Comfortable beds. One bed/bath on main floor. Separate TV room with arcade game and pull out bed perfect for families with kids. WIFI. HOT hot tub. Located in Chalet Village with access to pools and tennis courts. Well behaved pets welcome with approval and pet fee.

RULES: Must be at least 25 to book. Additional guest fee over 8 guests No 3rd party bookings. Disclosed pet fee with approval, $500 undisclosed pet fee, $50/hr late check out fee. No one night reservations less then one month in advance, 5 minimum stay during holidays. Cancellation Policy Guest receives 100% (less $100.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival; No refunds within 60 days of arrival. $500 refundable security deposit required.

We stayed 5 nights with 5 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space for all of us. We saw a Mama Bear and her 2 cubs come by every late afternoon/evening. We will definitely come back again!! The hosts were Fantastic and great with communication. Highly Recommend!!!!

Amazing!

If I could give more stars I definitely would. This cabin is perfect for a family getaway. There were 6 of us all together and we had plenty of room. There is a very cozy, welcoming vibe to the place. Very clean and comfortable. We had bear visitors every night as well! Will stay here again and highly recommend!

All around great experience

The property was very clean and included everything we needed to get settled in upon arrival. Plenty of room for all 7 of us to relax and enjoy our time. Many board games are kept at the cabin which we used nearly every night. The hot tub and gas firepit are amazing. The host was extremely responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again! We've stayed all around the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas over the years and this was one of the best! Thank you so much for your part in making great annual family vacation memories!

Overall a nice house, needs some maintenance

The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen, there is everything you could need to cook for a group and appliances seem new/updated. Our host was really responsive when we had trouble with the internet - which is important in this area because there is little to no cell service (normal in most surrounding areas). We did feel it could have been cleaner. All of the most used areas were very clean but there was a lot of dust in hidden places like the tops of the shower rails, high furniture etc which lead to some allergy issues. We also thought we saw some signs of mice and the surrounding deck and overhang hadn’t been washed/swept. Overall a good value for the amount of people you could have here, but we expected it to be a bit nicer. If it is a place to sleep/eat rather than hangout for most of the day, this may change the expectations. The internet issue was not the host’s fault, but it wasn’t fixed and it did cause some issues for us as some were planning to work remote.

Peaceful Getaway

Wonderful cabin 
 The view was beautiful but the road up was not for the faint of heart. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Had a nice yard for my dog.Didn’t get to see any bears and hoping we would. Was able to visit with my sister and brother in law and have some quality time together. Thank you Kate for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

Christmas Getaway

We wanted a place were we could enjoy our family and still visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Wonderful time traffic for Ober was a little backed up but that is expected during Christmas time, other ways off the mountain to avoid traffic. Hostess was very helpful and the communication was fabulous. Would definately stay again.

This cabin was as awesome as advertised...including the bears

My family and I had an incredible vacation in this awesome cabin! Everything was just as nice as it looks online. There was plenty of space for 6 people and a dog. I honestly was a little worried with it being a pet friendly cabin. I feared there might be dog hair everywhere. It was spotless. I didn't see a single pet hair anywhere. My in-laws dog loved it. It was so nice to have a little yard for him. You can't find that at most cabins. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice. The beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was stocked. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. I can't imagine you would be wanting anything. There was even a crockpot and electric griddle. I've been to a lot of places with uncomfortable furniture. Not Here! They made great choices. I recommend the reclining chair in the living room and the sofa in the game room. Make sure you get in a little Ms. Pacman while you are in there. The propane fireplace in the living room was nice too. We enjoyed using that. As great as the inside was, the porch and deck might even be better. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the swivel gliding chair. The firepit was so nice. We spent just about every evening toasting some marshmallows around it. Sitting in the hot tub was also very nice. It was just so peaceful at this cabin. There is virtually no traffic. Vehicle traffic that is. Bear traffic is a whole different story. In my opinion, that's what made this already 5 star cabin better than that. By the

Great weekend get away

I booked this cabin just after 4 pm the day before travelling to the cabin. I honestly didnt expect to find a place on such short notice, especially since i was travelling with pets. Lo and behold, Kate came through for me! Just Chillin has been perfect for my friend and me. It was just a bit hard to find, but that's part of the fun. The cabin was cozy, the furniture was very comfy, the beds and bedding were nice, and the hot tub worked perfectly! (Everything in the cabin worked perfectly, although Ms Pacman kept beating me.) Each bedroom, as well as the bonus room, had a TV. It was easy to drive to the park from this location, no need to deal with Gatlinburg traffic. Kate was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The goal for this weekend was relaxation. Mission accomplished!

Nice home, photos are exactly as the house is. Was plenty of space for our group of 7. Kate was very easy to communicate with. Saw plenty of bears, beautiful views and the full mountain experience driving uphill. I would recommend and would book again!

Black Bearapalooza!

We really enjoyed our stay at Just Chillin. It's great to find a place where our three couples each have a large bed and a private bathroom. Communication with the host was outstanding! She answered our questions quickly and efficiently. And if you want to see Black Bears--this is the place! We watched a mother rest on the road out front while her two cubs climbed a tall tree and play. We watched many more go up and down the road, checking the garbage for food (we locked ours, so they were disappointed.) We also woke to find paw prints on our cars, so we know they were checking our doors as well. We even had one younger bear scamper across the front porch one evening. We were hoping to see at least one and ended up seeing so many! We spent our days hiking the many trails at the park, and checked out one of the pools. We had excellent meals at Taste of Italy, The Peddler Steakhouse, Bennett's Pit BBQ and Big Daddy's Pizza in Gatlinburg. Also had an excellent breakfast at Pancake Pantry. Highly recommend all of them! The wait staff were friendly at everyone.

Just what we needed.

The cabin was great. It had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, and supplies. We saw bears 3 times. That was super exciting. Hot tub was great. I really can't complain about anything. After driving the roads up a few times, it was easy peasy.
