Free breakfast was nice. Facilities were quite old and bathroom was very rundown. Sloppy brown paiting tried to cover flaws. Bug in bathroom, rust. Urine smell in coridor.
Great spot to stay at in Gatlinburg just far enough off the strip. Good base to retreat from the masses and trump superstores. Don't plan on being back in Gatlinburg ever again, but would stay here if I had to.
Advice u only have one life to live this is affordable, and it is convenient to attraction, but be very aware of ur surroundings there are BEARS BUT the view is amazing photos from our balcony at the CHALET INN IN GATLINBURG TENNESSEE
The location of the chalet was walkable to the popular strip in Gatlinburg with restaurants, etc, which was nice because parking is expensive in town. The pool and chairs are nice, though there were generally no clean pool towels available despite a not busy pool. The cleanliness of the room was great, but it desperately needs to be updated inside and smelled quite bad.
Nice quiet ground floor room, Bear walked right in front of our window, which I thought was awesome.
Room was clean and comfortable, Will definitely be back.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Chalet Don’t!!
We killed a roach. Toilet had hair in it so didn’t feel like it was clean. Room was dusty like hadn’t been used in a while. Sheets had stains on them.

La propiedad muy limpia y con una excelente jubilaci ón ya que puedes ir caminando al centro del pueblo y a las distracciones ,el personal muy agradables que hacen tu estancia sea maravillosa
Truly the worst stat I’ve ever had. The rooms look nothing like the pictures and there were bugs crawling everywhere in the room. For reference, we stayed in room 219. The door latch was broken off the wall, the bathroom had no door, and as previously mentioned, BUGS EVERYWHERE. I will never book another stay at The Chalet Inn. In my opinion, it needs to be tore down because it is not tended to properly.
I loved the Inn. Was very beautiful. The fridge made a racket and didnt get as cold as i was hoping. The hill was killer to walk up and down but orher than tjat it was a very beautiful and relaxing clean experience.
I booked this hotel because it was labeled as pet friendly on the site hotels.com. When i get here i was told that dogs are not allowed but they would allow my dog to stay as long as i didn't leave him in the room alone. There were several dogs in the hotel on big one next to my room that barked every time i left the room. Then the people upstairs kept either moving furniture around all night or they were bowling.
