The Escape from Reality lodge is a luxurious cabin that begins with a stunning great room with a large fireplace. The “to dream about” kitchen is complete with all stainless steel appliances, a huge island, and granite throughout the cabin. All rooms are huge in this cabin, including 2 spacious master bathrooms with stone dual showers. This cabin sleeps 12 people with a King, 2 Queen beds and 3 Queen sofa beds. Many guests have commented on how comfortable the beds are. There are 5 smart HD TVs, one in each bedroom, the game room and a 4K TV in the great room. Bring your computers and stay connected with free high-speed 500MPS internet. There is a bedroom, bathroom and covered decks on all 3 levels. The large deck includes a swing set, a 9 foot picnic table with end seats and a gas grill. A unique mountain amenity is that this cabin has clean city water. Note that all inside surfaces are wiped down with a disinfectant after each stay. Child friendly with games and a high chair.

The game room includes a new Foosball game, pool table, dart board, a large fireplace, and corn hole on the deck. After competing, relax in the new 7 person deluxe hot tub, complete with a waterfall jet and watch the amazing wildlife nearby. My favorite thing to do is sit on the deck and listen to the calming sound of strong rapids of a stream right behind the property.

This family friendly cabin is located at the Cobbly Nob resort, which is 12 miles from Gatlinburg. It's located in a private mountain community that sits on 1000 acres right next to the Smoky Mountain National Park. The Cobbly Nob amenities include 3 outdoor pools at different locations , a golf course and a new "All Most Heaven" wedding chapel at the top of the mountain. New Pickleball courts and the new Timber Ridge Pool with a connecting park opened in 2024.

The Gatlinburg Community Center is only 6 miles away. This facility is perfect during the winter months. There's a large indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, racquetball court, pool table, ping pong table, fitness area and gymnasium with many basketball courts. The fee for the pool and bowling alley is only $3.

The Bent Creek Golf course is a short 2 miles down the mountain. A fantastic river for trout fishing and scenic hiking trails are only 7 miles away. The Climb Works Smoky Mountains – Zipline Tour is 2.5 miles away.
