Gigi's Getaway - Seasonal Mountain View & Hot Tub!

Pets and 14 guests are welcome to make Gigi's Getaway your home suite home in the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg, TN, on your next vacation or weekend getaway together! This pet-friendly, 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom cabin features relaxing amenities to enjoy your time in the mountains. Plus, as a member of Chalet Village Resort, you'll have access to community amenities that include 3 clubhouses with swimming pools, game tables, tennis and basketball courts, fitness equipment, and more!

This cozy log cabin is located near the ski slopes of Ober Gatlinburg for added fun, and you can reach downtown attractions, restaurants, and shops within a short drive. At the cabin, shoot pool, play a racing arcade game, and tap into the high speed Wi-Fi for entertainment. There's also a TV in every bedroom, so there's no fighting over the remote.

Cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen or cook out on the gas grill (gas not provided). Dine and play board games at the indoor or outdoor tables. To relax, slip into your swimsuit and hop in the steamy hot tub or draw yourself a hot bath in the indoor jetted tub. You can read or sip wine by the fireplaces and take in the wooded views on the decks.

At night, spread out with 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twin-over-full bunks, and 1 sleeper sofa. The driveway is flat and paved, and there's a washer and dryer to reuse provided towels or take care of personal laundry while away. Gigi's Getaway has the ideal mix of relaxing amenities and homey conveniences for your Smoky Mountain vacation.

Community pool access is provided and managed through a third party. Host is not liable for amenity availability, maintenance, downtime, or pool closures under any circumstances.

*Important Notice: Your cabin has 2 spaces available located down the hill from the cabin. Please do not park in the spaces in front of the cabin; these are the designated spaces for the neighboring cabin.

Review

It was very beautiful and clean. This was our first time staying in a cabin. I was disappointed at how long it took to get the internet and cable working by late Friday night, but we finally got it going that night. Then I was disappointed that the hot water in the cabin wasn’t that great for a cabin that size. I wanted to take a bath in the master bedroom upstairs jacuzzi and before the tub could even get over the jets the hot water went cold as ice. And it left me with Luke warm water n the tub. Very disappointed at that. Then come to find out the bunkbed bath room didn’t have hot water at the sink at all. The dryer door had to have a tiny piece of paper at the clip where it shuts in order to even work. We love to travel and try new things and new experiences. We did love the cabin. We realize everything has small side steps so it wasn’t enough to deter us from not coming back!!

Had a problem with the hot water heater called and reported it Friday morning the maintenance guy didn’t show up till around noon then left said he would be back around 3 to fix it never heard or seen him again that day so no hot water for the first 2 days finally fixed sat afternoon

Scout trip

We enjoyed the location, saw bears every day! The amenities matched our groups interests well, ample space for us. We did not have garbage pick up during our stay which did not allow for garbage to be fully removed upon leaving as the bins were full. Also we had a delivery left in property mailbox that we did not receive communication back from property manager how to access. Hoping it will be sent back for reimbursement! Overall wonderful stay!

Great Cabin, very relaxing

This was an amazing cabin. It is only 15 minutes from the strip of Gatlinburg which was very convenient. We stayed for 4 days and saw at least 6 bears! The neighborhood was clean and well managed the cabin was far up the mountain. The shower on the top level did leak into the kitchen a little bit but there were still two other showers so we just didn't use that one. But overall it was an amazing cabin and I would stay here again!

Find another private home not managed by “cabins for you”

The cabin was large and the hot tub and view were great. The lock was broken and we could not enter. Called multiple times and emails and after three hours we climbed through a window we found about half a floor up. The ceiling in the kitchen leaks onto the stove, had to throw away breakfast and go out. The hot tub is great, but the porch iced over and it was very dangerous. The breakers were all off when we arrived and we had to find the box to turn them on. The cabin was very dusty and had my allergies on fire, the dishes were all crusted with food. I did more cleaning than they likely do. All opportunities aside, the only actual problem was that the management company “cabins for you” were unresponsive and did not contact me after several calls and emails- until checkout day. Glad we found a window to enter! Perhaps the phone system was broken, but now it has been 4 days and no one has reached out as promised to try and work out a discount or at least apologize. I hesitated to leave a review but I want to warn others. Thank goodness Vrbo will step in to assist. We made the best of it and had a great time with family
but maybe keep shopping.

Winter Family Vacation

We did have a lovely time. The only complaint was that we could not make it to the parking spot due to the ice on the drive up to the cabins. I wished they could have salted it so we could have made it closer. We had to park at the bottom of the property and carry all of our things up and it was a long way up with many trips. There is plenty of room and games to keep everyone happy. The hot tub was awesome!!

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, which is located within a 10-20 minute drive to many attractions. Our family also enjoyed the games the first couple days when the weather did not cooperate.

After we got checked in found living room remote did not work found a remote from a down stairs bedroom that worked so had to take the remote back and forth to the different rooms. Had roaches in the kitchen also in fridge and down stairs . Son found trash on top bunkbed also had very low water pressure had to stand directly under shower head. Would not stay here again.

Will not stay with this company

Upon arrival the cleaning crew was still there. We had to wait outside for 20 minutes while they finished. We had arrived after 4pm. When entering the cabin there was still dog hair everywhere. There were cockroaches both dead and a live even in the fridge. We had requested that the stuffed bears be left for us when we got there for the kids. They were not there and did not arrive until the next day. The hot tub did not work. The pool sticks need tips. The pots and pans need replaced. We were never given the location of the pool. I reached out to the company and was provided three addresses and nothing more. When arriving at the pool we were informed we needed a pool access pass. No information from the company was given about this. I showed the pool clerk the Information and code I was given and they had no idea what that code was for. Even though it was listed for the pool it was not correct. Thankfully the lady at the pool let us stay that day and she reached out to her supervisor to see if we had an access pass. She gave me the information for it. I had also emailed the company to see where the pass would be at and they stated it should be on a piece of paper. We could not find it anywhere. The master bedroom never got really cool. The ceiling fan in the lower level bedroom did not work. We found a box fan that was extremely loud and on its last leg.

The place needs a good deep clean and several updates.

I cleaned properly when we arrived, killed cockroach found a pair of pantries under bathroom closet windows were so dirty I cleaned them! Wash/dryer is in bad shape. Wildfire started so we had to evacuate and end vacation early.

Really nice if it was clean.

We had some repairs done. No hot water in Master bathroom sink. Handrail was loose. They fixed it . And put stoppers in the tubs. The hot tub in Master has a dirt ring in it so it was not used. The ceiling has so much dust it moves when the fan is turned on. It has leaks in the living room, and the master bedroom. The parking is down the hill in the dark. And there was many live bears đŸ»! The pots and pans stuck the food the were needing replaced. It's a nice place for younger people all bedrooms are up or down stairs. Took 4 day to get work done that was requested. Master bathroom sink still has no hot water.

Really enjoyed it

My family and I took a quick weekend to get away and really enjoyed Gigi’s getaway!! The cabin is so spacious. The pool table and video games kept everyone entertained! The location was great. It was very peaceful. The beds were comfy. Good water pressure. Overall such a great stay and would definitely book it again!!

The cabin was as described. It had lots of room. The pool table and games are nice for kids however be reminded they are in living area. The view from the cabin is not great and parking is down the hill from the cabin.Someone then even parked in our spot. 2 slots per cabin but some families have more cars. Cleaning was on. Crumbs under couches and tables. Kitchen table had sticky on it. Be sure and bring everything you need. Salt. Oil. Foil etc. Ice Maker didn’t work so bring that too. We never found the pool. It is not near the cabin. The hot tub was nice and clean. If your using the couch the sheets were left in bag. TV remotes need batteries. Netflix worked on one. You are left to just figure out game turn on. TV turn on and remotes. Good WIFI. Not the best place we’ve stayed. Not the worst. Cabin was located close to downtown.

Nice cabin just lacking some things

Beautiful cabin but some things could be updated. The dryer didn’t seem to work well, the light inside the refrigerator was hanging down some, they only left us two packs of dishwasher detergent for 3 nights and 4 days, and some of the blinds were broken which didn’t bother us but it was just minor things that could be updated but other than that it was a nice stay and beautiful cabin. The kids loved the games inside

Not what we expected for the price

Glasses had lip prints on them. Master shower had hair and standing water in it (felt like we needed shoes on to use it, so we didn't). Crumbs on beds and couches. Dirt on floor. Cold down stairs, but hot upstairs. Not all TVs worked. Windows missing screens. Hot tub cover needs replaced. Missing knobs on several cabinets and closet doors. Burned out lights. Not enough plates and bowls for how many people it says the place sleeps. Master bed was right against windows, no head/foot board like in picture of the listing. Wall by back door/hot tub leaked water into the cabin when it rained (left a puddle on the floor). Good location. Easy check-in and out. Good internet speed. Would have been nice to have a list of restaurants that deliver (for rainy day), and if they provided provided pack-n-play/crib and a highchair for families with babies.
