This charming retreat invites you to unwind and reconnect with nature—and with each other.
Whether you’re seeking a quiet escape in the Smoky Mountain National Park or the attractions of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, Tuck Me Inn will be a memorable base for exploring the region.
This cabin gives you a rustic mountain feel as you enter with a solid wood floor and wood beams in the cathedral ceiling. Complete with a wooden ladder to reach the loft. Two decks for viewing the mountains, watching wildlife, hot tubing, enjoying the swing, reading or enjoying a glass of wine.
A fully equipped kitchen compliments the chalet. Enjoy your morning coffee on the upper deck. Later in the evening, the charcoal grill will let you fill Chalet Village with the aroma of a juicy steak or an old-fashioned hamburger.
Tuck Me Inn is the ideal location for your vacation...centrally located just 8/10 of a mile up the mountain from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. You're only minutes to ALL the major attractions, outlets and specialty stores and restaurants. A five-to-ten-minute drive has you enjoying the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Dollywood. You may even park your car at the foot of Wiley Oakley Drive by the Gatlinburg Welcome Center and ride the Trolley into either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
During the summer months you have full access to the Chalet Village HOA’s 3 pools and clubhouses. They feature a workout room, tennis courts, pickle ball court and a game room.
After a day on the hiking trails, the thrills of Dollywood, a visit to the Island or the fantastic shopping in the outlet stores, you'll be ready to relax in the double swing on the lower deck. Then, before turning in for the night, soak in the private Hot Tub. Next enjoy the comfort of the king bed. Guests have specifically mentioned the bed in their reviews. “The king bed in the cabin is very comfortable”.
The cabin also has a Loft with 2 twin mattresses for the small family that would like to bring the kids.

Whole cabin was amazingly clean. Location couldn't have been better, dead center in between Gatlinburg and pigeon forge and only a very short drive off the main highway! Very kind host, offering whatever was needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful views. Overall couldn't have made a better choice! Hot tub was very clean too!

This was a great little get away for our honeymoon. Cozy, close proximity to adventures, hot tub was wonderful and very clean. The place could use a good deep clean but overall was pretty clean. The metal stair case to the lower level is no joke. I dont think someone elderly or physically impaired in any way could maneuver it. Wifi did go out one night but was back on the next day. There was a slight stink bug problem, half a dozen or so on the curtains around the sliding door on main level. As far as bugs go they are harmless but wasn’t a pleasant sight. It’s due for some upgrades for sure, especially the downstairs bathroom that doesn’t have an exhaust fan and the vanity paint was peeling, sink cracked. This property ticked a lot of boxes for us and we are very pleased with our first VRBO experience.

Great location, wonderful inn and very cozy and clean. The roadway and driveway are quite tight and small though and I do not recommend trying this place with a full size SUV or 4 door pickup truck!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay - this is a great location for GSMNP, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Pete was very responsive and this was one of the cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed at. The hot tub was a great way to relax after hiking. Thanks again!

Wonderful cabin

Perfect location for getting to Gatlinburg. Also, extremely handy for the trolley parking lot is at the beginning of the road, so no need to drive into Gatlinburg if you don't want to. Cabin was clean and wonderful. Hot tub was even better!

Great stay!

The house was everything we had hoped for! Our sons loved sleeping in the loft, the views of the mountains were amazing, the jacuzzi was much needed and the warm cozy feeling of the cabin with the fireplace and Christmas decorations were perfect. Pete was always available and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

Cabin was wonderful. Hot tub was a much welcome sight after long days of shopping and sight seeing. This cabin owner thinks of everything u could want or need and has it. Lots of personal touches most cabins don’t think of. The wood burning fireplace was beautiful. We will be back! Thank you for a great week!!

Anniversary

We experienced a strong musty smell when we first open the door as if it hadn't been used in a long time. We had to air it out every day. The place needs some work as the pictures don't show any of that. It just needs to be updated. The stairs are terrifying! We couldn't even take our suitcases down for fear of falling! The hot tub was nice and the view even better. Great communication with the property management. Except he forgot our fudge!

Great weekend getaway

We stayed here Friday-Sunday. The property is immaculate and very comfortable with great amenities. We loved both back porches, especially the lower level porch with the hot tub, ceiling fan, and porch swing. So wonderful to sit out on the porches or in the hot tub and enjoy the stars and the mountain scenery. Having two full bathrooms was also nice. The cabin had cute decorations inside and outside. So warm and welcoming! The owner was easy to reach and attentive. The only drawback might be the metal winding staircase from the main floor to the lower level where the primary bedroom and porch with the hot tub and porch swing are located. Someone older or with mobility issues might not be able to access the lower level because of the narrow, winding staircase. Getting larger suitcases up and down the winding staircase could also be challenging. We loved staying at Tuck Me In and would love to stay there again. Great location not far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge destinations but located in a quieter, peaceful area. Highly recommend this rental!
