Iâve NEVER stayed at a VRBO where I had to drive 45 minutes in the opposite direction to pick up keys from a rental agency and show ID. I mean if I wanted a 3rd party, I would have seemed one out. Whatâs the point of VRBO if I have to pay extra for the agency? AND a 600 owner fee? Thatâs crazy!Very strong cat odor. So much so 1 friend had to go rent a room at the Hampton Inn. The rest of us could deal with it but preferred not to of course! Very well updated property. Sandwiched between very run down sketchy houses. Can be quite creepy. The porches were adequately furnished but VERY DIRTY! So disappointed in not being able to enjoy coffee on the porch. Soooo much potential but falls short.
Checking in cost a bit of time to get the keys for the house instead of the typical door key code but once you get to the house and see how they renovated the home to itâs historic charm, it made complete sense. Just an inconvience, but they were helpful in a solution for key return. The house was great for our family and we loved the location for walking to the waterfront food and shops. We also walked to a local park several times and the locals were super friendly!
