Exceptional Stay in North Bali

My stay at Munduk Moding Plantation exceeded my expectations. I stayed in luxury suite and the the intentional design and details along with the amenities were everything. The views from my room and the infinity pool were stunningly beautiful and serene. The staff was exceptional making my accommodation feel like a home away from home. Roni was my driver for the four days. He was amazing! I would definitely come back to this resort.

Truly aloft in spirit as well as elevation

An excerpt from my creative writing… The clouds kiss the jungle here. The air is fresh with hydrangeas, clove and coffee trees, and the horizon is transformed into a floating dreamscape. “Munduk” means “high lands,” and this place is truly aloft; not just in elevation but in spirit. Although we arrived under the cloak of night, morning peeled back the veil and we realised how different this was from the world we had just left behind. Jungle and sky, interlaced. Infinity pools that spill into the heavens. A jacuzzi that is so warm it might just hold the sun himself. Breakfast here is divinity on a plate. Farm to plate, with nutritious gifts that hum with the song of the soil, coffee grown right on these grounds- rich, earthy, soul-awakening. Everything here sings: the birds, the wind, the distant waterfalls, the quiet presence of something ancient, something wise. The staff here are not just hosts, but guardians of the lands. Our villa, perched above the clouds, feels like a secret whispered by the universe.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful setting and lovely staff. The best infinity pool and the best spot to enjoy incredible sunsets. The food is also excellent, especially at their Balinese restaurant and the staff is lovely, especially Rikki and Dipa. Would 100% recommend.

Excellent resort with outstanding services. Reasonable prices for excellent foods. Great room service. The villa was great albeit a bit dated in style and decor but that did not take away from the magnificent stay we had.

Staff was very nice, condition of room was OK, tons of bugs but you are in the jungle so I guess to be expected. Not as eco friendly as they claim - change towels even when hanging on the rack and only sell bottled glass water in restaurants even though they have filtered water, with no glass waste, they don’t offer it. TONS of children… not an adult holiday.

Perfect spot for older discerning travelers
