Manager stated she would refund me for the inconvenience of not having a functional pack n play. I express my exhaustion with not having a place to my baby to sleep in a contained space. She understood and offered a refund. I expressed I would be checking out early as I didn’t get any sleep the night before with having to hold my baby. The manager understood. My family was all packed yep in our suv, upon driving off the manager walks out with a functioning pack n play. She expressed the other one she had worked. I told her that’s great but my we’re all packed up and your other staff told me you guys didn’t have a working pack n play. The manager insisted that we stay because they had a working one. But at this point I hadn’t slept in 30 hours and we had already packed up all our snow gear a belonging the babies were already settled in the car. To unpack everything at this point would just add to my exhaustion I just wanted to go home. The manager said she understood. We drove off and headed home. As the manager expressed to me to put in request with Expedia about the experience so she could refund. Only to find out she declined giving it to me. I dont believe it’s fair to ask a family to unpack all their belongings while driving out the parking lot because you now found a working crib. The room was fine. It was the accommodation for having a baby that wasn’t reasonably. I would think many families with babies have to have similar experiences. Where do they put their babies?
