Good value in Grand Forks for budget conscious ...

My kids loved the pool and indoor golf course. I loved the price! Not a bad choice if you are on a budget and need a decent place to stay. Clean room, friendly staff, good facilities including restaurant and a bar. We will be back. P.s. Forgot to mention, they recently installed 39" flat screen TVs

Good Value for People on a Budget!

Overall I was happy with my stay. Yes, it's no Hilton... but it has nice amenities, such as large pool, mini-golf. restaurant, bar, pool tables and large clean rooms at reasonable prices. Compared to other hotels in this price range you get both a good deal and full service hotel. With other hotels, in this price range , will offer you a basic room and not much else. I would stay here again.

Rooms were badly damaged for being remodeled, from chipped paint, missing towel bars, toilet paper roll crooked, light flickered a bunch, the shower didn’t get hot at all and leaves everywhere! The beds were comfortable and the room got hot and cold quickly which was nice. Disappointed that the hot tub was broken was the main reason we picked the hotel....casino was like 5 slot machines and a card table was expecting more. Mini golf looked fun but we didn’t play no hours posted anywhere. Overall could be a great hotel if the minor updates were fixed.

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate all forms of feedback. Although we have already updated quite a few things in the hotel we are still in the process of renovating it which includes updating the rooms. We hope that you will come back and check us out once we have completed all of the renovations! Thank you for staying with us.

What a run down dive!

What a complete dive! The poorest quality hotel I've seen! We booked this hotel because the pictures of the pool and mini golf where very welcoming! When we pulled in there was empty beer bottles everywhere and ,a nice little rehab facility next door! We put it aside and went in to hope for a better outcome; we walked into a run down dark unwelcome uncomforting building. The lady at check in knew nothing of our reservation and was unsure about every aspect of my check in.. untrained I imagine. She gave us a room and we went to take a look.. the door was held open by the hair dryers cable and the bedding was in a bundle on the floor... We walked out and checked out the pool and mini golf course... What a outdated warn out facility. The golf course was warn out and torn up. The pool was small and warn out... The lady then showed up and said "oh..it's not ready" and proceeded to check us into another room however only accessible rooms where available.... Lesson learned stick to quality we walked away and went to canadinns! Well worth the extra $100!

THIS HOTEL WAS DATED AND IN MY OPINION MORE SUITED TO FAMILIES

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close, no breakfast, overpriced
THIS HOTEL WAS A CONSIDERABLE DISTANCE FROM MOST AMENITIES AND WAS WAY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT WAS PROVIDED. WE WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. THE FRONT DESK CLERKS WERE VERY FRIENDLY BUT EVRYTHING ELSE WAS LESS THAN STANDARD.

hotel is not in a good location and not up to standard. The price we paid was very high compared to what we paid in other far better hotels

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone except those who have children that would enjoy the pool & other things for children. The biggest concern other than the exhorbitant price was the poor location.

Good

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy, Poor breakfast
TV should be placed higher up for better viewing. Also the room said it had HBO but we could not get it on the TV. Otherwise the room was good.

This hotel was fine, but was nothing special.

We really wanted to stay downtown and so this hotel was our only option. It was maybe a bit expensive for what we got but really had no other option. The first room we had was really hot and smelled of strong perfume, like they were trying to mask something. The air conditioner wasn't working so we moved to an outside room where we could open the windows. It was much better. @4:00 in the morning some partiers came back right above us and we being very loud, they also woke up a crying baby which also kept us up. Those things are out of the hotels hands, but made for not a good night sleep at all. We went home very tired!

Would book again

Stayed here for a weekend, in April 08 for shopping. Hotel is under construction. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool, hottub had alot of kids, and wet towels around. Did not know there was dining in hotel as when I went in, it appearred to be a lounge with gambling. Was later told I had to go sit on the upper deck by the pool area and someone would come out to serve us meals. Other than asking you would not have known. Had trouble finding the hotel. Arrived at night, drove by it twice and when asked for directions was told it was renamed but the signed had not changed. Overall, I would stay here again for the price. The front desk staff were genuinely nice. The room was clean and comfortable, Shower was hot. Had a 2nd floor poolside room, which quite quit despite the kids pool party.
