The Morales is conveniently located just a short walk from the central plaza in Guadalajara, surrounded by a vibrant shopping and dining scene. The streets felt safe to walk even in the late evening. The Morales is a beautiful historical building with a picture worthy lobby and atrium. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with minimum street noise. The breakfast buffet is quite good although there are better options near by. Our only complaint was the concierge and doorman were decidedly unhelpful and seemed concerned with chatting with the security staff rather than helping us find transportation etc. Nevertheless, we recommend the hotel and had a fantastic time in Guadalajara.

The room was in good condition, the toilet did not flush well, and the roll holder was not secured onto the wall very well. The beds were comfortable and the air con worked well. The room was quiet, although I would suggest that the air con display be covered up so it is not so bright. I understand this can be silenced but this compromises the air con effectiveness

I think mattress was terrible and pillows super hard. Softer pillows and maybe better quality on mattress would be good. Breakfast was too expensive for the small variety they have. And the French bread was so hard I couldn’t finish one piece. Staff members were great customer service and very polite. Hotel was very clean everywhere you go.
