This property was conveniently located for all of the Guadalajara Independence Day/week activities. It was amazing watching the fireworks from my hotel balcony every night. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel! The breakfast has vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options. The vegan options are mostly fruit, toast and beans. Very personable staff who were patient with my broken Spanish. Beautiful 7th floor terrace. I loved that the toilets have a strong flush. The building is older, and it shows. The rooms are quaint, and no face towels or lotion is provided. If you take the stairs, they're pretty dusty, and you may track the dirt into your room if you wear shoes. It's not very quiet with the festivities going on right outside the building in the park, BUT the sliding door to the balcony provided some sound reduction. The hotel is probably quieter when there are no events. The elevators are kinda small.

The location and view are unbeatable that is why the 5-star. The room it self can be cleaner specially the bathroom, the lock was a bit jiggly. If those things are taken care of this would be a no brainer pick always. Regardless I will recommend to family and friends. Thank you for your hospitality.

The hotel is right on the plaza so easy to visit many historic sites including the cathedral. Great city views right from our room. The rooms are small and it was the smallest queen sized bed I’ve ever seen.

Overall it was a nice stay. It was affordable and a convenient location. The front desk staff needs some serious customer service training. I had to ask for the WiFi code and where the breakfast is served. I think this should automatically be told. They also need to smile a bit more.
