Not ideal
The hotel and staff are quite nice. However, I was assigned a room that was not to the standard of what I had booked (much smaller). They gladly changed me immediately. Then the thermostat did not work (they immediately repaired it), and then there was no water -- and then only brown water. Onto the third room, which was fine except that it looked out onto the restaurant and bar, and so the curtains needed to be closed at all times while I was in the room for privacy. Thankfully I did not need to spend much time in the room. But not ideal and a bit claustrophobic.

This hotel leaves you wanting for nothing. The rooms have every amenity that I can think of having. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful. The staff goes above and beyond for your every need, and they are all very friendly. This is a beautiful property in a great location.

It’s a great old hotel with real MX charm. This is our third time staying here and it might be our last. It feels a bit run down and service is iffy at best. It’s not near the places we’d like to be able to walk to and the restaurant is very expensive ($40pp for brunch) Pros: it’s super charming, Sunday brunch is a big deal and the musicians are fabulous. Rooms are quite large.
