The City of Isle of Palms has approved a beach nourishment project expected to take place Summer–Fall 2026. While a final schedule has not yet been released, work is anticipated to move along the beach in sections, meaning any impact to a specific area is temporary.

Parking: Limited to three cars. One car can park in the garage, with one car in the driveway. The third car may park in any open, unassigned parking place located between each home. There is no on-street parking in Wild Dunes.
Beach Chairs and Umbrella: The Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company will provide your family two classic wooden beach chairs and an umbrella when you stay seven nights (March– October). These are set up on the beach each morning for your family and removed each night by the crew at IOP Beach Chair Company.
Additional Amenities Include: High speed internet with Wi-Fi. Direct No Contact Check in at “Easy as 1-2-3”, at 123 Grand Pavilion. Text and email status updates of accommodations on arrival date. Full sized washer and dryer. Linens and bath towels are provided. One-day starter supply kit of necessities. Things to note:
Wild Dunes does not have a central resort pool for all visitors. Most neighborhoods and villa communities have their own private pool for guests staying in that specific area. Please note that the pools at the Hyatt Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and the Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved exclusively for Hyatt hotel guests and are not available to vacation rental guests.
The Wild Dunes Community has a strict no pet policy for non-residents. Pets are not allowed within the gates of the community. No smoking Check in time is 4:00 PM and check out is 10:00 AM. Stairs to access 1 of 2 levels. Hyatt Hotels will occasionally host outdoor events, conferences, and weddings in the Grand Pavilion. A schedule is not published, and all events are managed by Hyatt. There is a noise ordinance in effect weekdays until 10 PM and weekends to 11 PM.

Ladies tennis friends
A group of 9 ladies went for the Charleston Open. Our only complaint is that we had to leave to come home! The condo was perfect for our group! Would love to stay again when we go back to the area! The hosts were great with communication and recommendations for restaurants and things to do!

Weekend reunion and golf
Great house and could not be more convenient at the Wild Dunes resort. Host was quick to respond with the only question I had and we were even able to check in early which was great with people flying in on the early side. Everything you need is right there so we could all come and go as we pleased without having to organize all going places at once. Golf at Links Course was great as well. We ate at all the places in the resort, as well as some local spots just a short drive away. Awesome trip and excited to do it again.
