“The Sandpiper” on the Isle of Palms is awaiting your family for a week of beautiful ocean views, walks along the oceanfront boardwalk, lounging by one of two ocean pools and the enjoyment of staying in a comfortable home at Wild Dunes.  

“The Sandpiper” at 112 Grand Pavilion, with its four bedrooms, four full baths, surrounds you in comfortable surroundings and thoughtful amenities to make every day a memorable one.  Give into lazy beach days with a cool drink or a warm sandwich by one of two oceanfront swimming pools just steps from the oceanfront deck at “The Sandpiper”.  Both drink and dining service are offered on the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk at Beachside Burgers and Bar.  When you are ready to ride a breaking wave, build a sandcastle or play cornhole, the wide sandy beach in front of the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk is awaiting you.     

Perfect for multiple families or a group of friends, “The Sandpiper” features four spacious bedrooms accommodating up to 10 guests.  Each bedroom is designed with a workstation, private bath, high-speed internet service, a thermostat to set the perfect temperature, a television, and comfortable bedding. This home has been designed to give each person a quiet place to catch up with the office, complete schoolwork or post the perfect story when not by the pool or on the beach.  

The living room, dining area and kitchen provide a terrific place to come together.  Attractively furnished, the living room is highlighted with high quality yet comfortable sofa and chairs.  The dining room has seating for six with extra dining places at the kitchen bar and oceanfront deck.  The kitchen has been updated and is nicely equipped.   
Located in the Grand Pavilion, “The Sandpiper” is at the center of Wild Dunes, a resort development on the northern end of the Isle of Palms.  Within the Grand Pavilion, your family will be delighted to find a long list of amenities including:

Beach Chairs and Umbrella:
The Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company will provide your family two classic wooden beach chairs and an umbrella when you stay seven nights (March– October).   These are set up on the beach each morning for your family and removed each night by the crew at IOP Beach Chair Company.

Great Stay--A few things could have made it fantastic!

Prior to our stay, Michael provided lots of information on the area and things to do. That was all very helpful. Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at The Sandpiper. It was in close proximity to the two pools and was a short walk to the beach. We loved having two beach chairs set up for us each morning. The home was located a short walk to pizza and ice cream, which the grandkids loved. A few things could have made our stay even better. It would be great if beach towels had been provided. It sounds trivial, but not really when we traveled by air across the country. It would have been nice not to have to pack bulky items such as beach towels. Few kitchen cleaning items were provided-- a few dishwasher pods, a small container of dishsoap. I was informed that this was the "welcome packet" to get us through until we could purchase more of these items. Michael offered to bring out more, although it was clear that this was not the norm. We could not find any other cleaning supplies to wipe down kitchen table, counters, etc. This has not been our experience staying in other vacation homes around the country. We loved the location of the Sandpiper. Couldn't beat it. However, it didn't have the personal touches that we have becomed accustomed to staying in other places.

Wonderful property and the perfect vacation for my family!! Close to many places of interest, nightlife, and you are right on the beach. Not a far drive to Charleston either. Fantastic location!

You could not have a better location than this house! Oceanfront, overlooking the snack bar and steps to the pool. Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end and the property management was very prompt in answering any questions. Would highly recommend this house!

Good but Red Sky Insurance horrible.

The place was just as advertised. Great location with pool and ocean right off my balcony. One thing you should change is your insurance company in your link. We purchased hurricane insurance because of the season. Sure enough Ian came in as a CAT 1. We left the property and returned home due to the hurricane. Unfortunately, Red Sky Insurance would not cover the interruption because there was not a mandatory evacuation. They expected people to sit 100 yards from the ocean and ride it out. Horrible response from them and very disappointing. We left 4 days early.

Unit 112

We had a great time and house is very convenient to beach and pool. Parking is horrible if you have more than 2 vehicles. Staff, golf carts and service trucks continued to park in front of the vehicles and you couldn’t get out. Other than that it was very nice.
