This apartment is nice and clean.
The 3 bedrooms are nicely furnished and decent size.
Coin Laundry Conveniently Located in the Really Clean and Nicely Done Basement! Conveniently located 1 block from bus transportation, 3 blocks from the Light rail to the path, 1 block from NJ Turnpike. Truly a Gem! Book with us you won't regret it. PARKING AVAILABLE which is rare in Jersey City. Laundry on Site. 20 Minutes to New York City, 10 minutes to Downtown area, Waterfront and Parks!

A nice first floor flat in a small house for a first visit to New York. You will be like in a hotel with some first arrivals package ( soap, tea, coffee...). Nancy is very responsive and neighboors are nice

very good house, but environment is challenging once it is getting dark

it is a really good house , very clean, very nice landlord. be aware that this area is not for walking around once it is dark. it is within the most challening environment in jersey city . you can easily find on web why i am writing this.

Yes, this place is “near everything”. If you don’t mind walking fown trash filled streets and burned down houses to get to the train station. I stayed with my 3 kids and we’re from the Detroit area so we weren’t exactly uncomfortable but I would never stay again. We got to the place and the first thing we saw was ants, all over the master bedroom. I can even hang with that. Bugs happen everywhere. But host Nancy (call me anytime!) was called the next day so we could make sure our parking situation was correct. She never answered. So we git a parking ticket. The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced badly. I wound up bunking with my kid. The smell of air fresheners was overwhelming. Asthmatics shouldn’t stay here. But other than ants, awful neighborhood, and unreachable host; it was fine.

Misleading Host and Uninhabitable Conditions – Extremely Disappointing Experience

We booked this property for a 5-day family stay and were deeply disappointed by the experience.Upon arrival, we found:No working heat despite temperatures in the 40s–60sFUnsafe electrical conditions – space heaters tripped outletsNo internet access, although it was listed as an amenityA disturbing street incident that raised safety concernsThe host repeatedly stated the issues were being “worked on,” but in truth, no repair efforts began until nearly 24 hours later—when an estimator, not a technician, first arrived. This felt deliberately misleading.We were forced to vacate the property early due to uninhabitable and unsafe living conditions, and despite multiple attempts at resolution, the host was unresponsive and dismissive. This stay failed to meet basic expectations of comfort, honesty, and hospitality.I do not recommend this property unless the host takes full responsibility and improves transparency, maintenance, and guest safety. A deeply frustrating and costly experience for our family. Avoid this place if you want a peace of mind.

The apartment is clean and very well stocked. Even the cabinets are labeled! Everything was very organized and well thought out. We went to see the statue which was MUCH EASIER on the NJ side. We had a hiccup at the beginning of our trip but the host was very gracious and helpful every step of the way. I highly recommend this place for any NYC (or NJ) trip. Transportation into the city was simple and straightforward.

Father/Son Retreat In The Big Apple

My youngest son just returned from Army bootcamp and his 3 older brothers, all service members, gathered here for a Father/Son Retreat. We were going to stay in Time Square but during Thanksgiving the prices were insane. This owner was reasonably priced with plenty of space for 5 adults and outstanding communication. If I ever come back to New York/New Jersey, this will be my first dial. Thank you again for making our retreat so comfortable and accomodating.

First time booking thru this VRBO app. All i can say is Wow! Our host was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet, neighbors friendly and so helpful. Used the light rail train about a 7 minute walk. Took that to Exchange Place and hopped on the PATH train.

Very Convenient and Pleasant Stay for our NYC Visit

My family visited NYC and stayed at Nancy’s apartment. We found the entire experience very convenient and pleasant. The parking onsite was wonderfully convenient. Location was very close to the train to help us navigate to our activities over the course of our stay. The apartment was very clean and ample to fit our family of 5 and stocked to support us during the stay. There is construction on the street nearby which made navigating the one-way streets a bit tricky at first but we figured out the best way to work around the construction after the first day and didn’t cause problems after our initial arrival. Overall a great experience for our family.

The property and host were great. Nice touches such as toiletries were very welcome as our bags were list. Neighborhood is okay, parking was difficult on Satruday night, and it was an easy walk to light rail to get to Libery State Park, downtown Jersey City, then on to Manhattan

BEYOND EXPECTATION!!!

The property was even nicer than described! The added “small” amenities - - like the “Just in Case” supplies in the bathrooms and the coffee/tea “accessories” (stirrers, sweetener packets, creamer tubs) in the kitchen - - were a testament to the hospitality and professionalism of Nancy, the hostess. The apartment was very clean. Nancy was a great host and communication was immidiate. The location was great for our needs. I love that the litte things like shampoo and conditioner were provided, most rentals do not provide the little necessities. We like to eat breakfast and dinner at our rentals to save money. I wish there had been a toaster and a griddle for cooking, other than that there was plenty of dishes for us to use including tupperware to store our left overs in. Overall it was a great experience and I would rent again if I plan a future trip.

NYC family vacay

Comfortable place to stay for a family of 5 while visiting NYC. It was really impeccably clean and comfortable with a kitchen and enough bedding and towels, etc. we drove to the exchange place which cost about 20.00 a day to park, took the PATH to the World Trade Center and then used subway from there. Parking was challenging at the exchange place. We were thankful there was a parking spot for the rental rather than just street parking. Nancy did speak to us as we felt a bit uncomfortable with the neighborhood, she says renters have never had any problems, we did not have any problems either, but do not feel like it would be comfortable to walk around with a family on these streets especially at nighttime
