"We stayed at Atlantis The Royal for a couple of nights and overall had a wonderful stay. It’s an architectural masterpiece, no doubt. Our room was gorgeous. Early check-in was really much appreciated. That said, both check-in and check-out were slower than expected. Honestly, it could do with more front desk staff. Also, tiny thing, but no fresh milk in the room felt a bit off for a hotel at this level. It’s minor, but… it’s noticeable. The breakfast was a highlight, phenomenal, oysters, champagne… top quality. Restaurants were excellent too. The family pool was vibrant and fun, beach was peaceful and beautiful, and the water park access was a really nice bonus. Our disappointment was the Nobu by the beach pool… Too many external guests, some behavior and language just weren’t at the standard you’d expect for this level, and it did detract from the brand feel. We also noticed a slightly commercial vibe with a lot of retail and upselling, plus table service in the evenings lacked that, sort of one-to-one personal touch. Would we come back? Yes, with family. But we’d give that pool a miss. With a few tweaks around service and atmosphere, this place could be pretty close to perfect."
