This property is simply amazing. You'll never want to leave while staying on the island - its like your own private resort. Watch sunsets from the pool!The property is well maintained, fully furnished, kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the property management team is highly responsive and friendly.

Super Aloha

Quiet, romantic stay with my wife for 2 weeks. There is really no need to leave the property, except to take advantage of fine dining at local resorts and to purchase fresh fish at local markets. Stellar property for endless sunsets and quiet time with your favorite person.

Puako dream

This property is as amazing as it looks in the listing. The property managers were so polite, responsive and helpful. The location can’t be beat. The view is absolutely amazing- exactly as pictured. There are sea turtles that come every afternoon to sunbathe on the lava rocks and snorkeling right at the house. It was a great location for exploring the rest of the island. My kids enjoyed the pool. I would definitely go back!

Absolutely Amazing - Paradise!

We came here as a family of 5 (3 teenagers). We were all looking for something different. Parents wanted peace and tranquility, one teen wanted adventure (snorkeling), one wanted close to proximity to resorts and one wanted to sit in backyard and tan the entire week. It was a bullseye for all 5 of us! The house is spectacularly layed out for ultimate privacy. The backyard is quiet and private. Felt like we had the ocean to ourselves. There isn't a room in the house that doesn't face the glorious view of the ocean. High quality furniture, decor and kitchen supplies. Enjoyed waking up every morning to peaceful beach waves and enjoying a glass of wine at night watching the sunsets and sea turtles find rest on the rocks. One thing we were most curious about before arriving was how accessbile this house was to shopping, restaurants and the resorts. The answer is VERY! We rented bikes and the kids took daily rides to the resorts nearby - at the end of the road, there is a small blocked off area however easy to walk around the fence (everyone does it)and bam, you're at the Fairmont Orchid. Taking that same path and heading left instead of right towards the resort you get a nice walk or bike ride to Food Lands, a major grocery store, and lots of other cute foods stops and retail shops. You can also walk along the big rocks during low tide all the way to the resorts as well (15 min). I could go on and on but trust me, this place is amazing and we plan to return.

Fabulous house & location!

We loved Hale Malulani! The house is beautiful! We loved how it opens up to the ocean! The pool and jacuzzi were lovely! This house would be perfect for 3 couples to share. There is so much to do within very reasonable driving distance that we cannot imagine a better location on the Big Island! The general store on the same street is adorable and you can get your snorkeling or dive equipment there! It is close to to Foodland (for groceries and beverages). There are two very nice snorkeling areas to see fish and sea turltes right on the same street as the house! There was so much to do we never got around to playing pickleball, but loved that that was an option right at the house!
