Booster seat and high chair for kiddos. Remote work space with desk. Lots of local restaurants, including 54th Street grill, Cooper's Hawk both 2 miles away. Great local shopping (1.5 miles) and only a 20 minute drive to the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs stadiums, 30 minutes from Down Town and Central Station... Kansas City zoo only 20 minutes away.. Lots to do in Kansas city!

Great host. I was able to add an extra day! Streaming TV only, so if you're not used to it, can be a little difficult. The stairs are very steep! I had my elderly mother on this trip and she was unable to use them. She had to walk around to the back slider.

We arrived at the house to find that a main water line in the street had broken, flooding the area. The city had to shut off water to the entire street for 36 hours. The owner immediately stepped in and offered to move us to a different VRBO property for the same price—and it turned out to be fantastic.The owner was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and made sure our stay was seamless despite the unexpected situation. Both properties are beautiful, well-maintained, and welcoming. We are already planning another trip next year and will absolutely book with this owner again.I’ve stayed at many VRBOs over the years, and I have to say this experience was outstanding. We loved everything about the properties and can’t recommend this owner highly enough.

We stayed for three nights while in town for two sporting events in KC. Owner was very easy to communicate with. I would warn travelers of the very steep stairs to the upstairs living area. We wished there had been more outdoor seating.Very positive rating for location. Lee's Summit has TONS of places to visit for food and drink.

My son and I stayed here and really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean! The beds were comfortable and there were a few extra amenities like a hair dryer and soaps. Easy to find and pretty close to some nice shopping!

This place was exactly as advertised—no surprises, just good vibes. The two walk-in level bedrooms with their own bathroom? Total game changer. Upstairs? Comfy couches, dreamy beds, and fans in every room (perfect for blocking out those 4th of July fireworks
 or snoring relatives). And don’t even get me started on the park right across the street—major bonus! Would 100% stay here again.

Excellent blend of economical and well cared for. Just what we were looking for. Pet friendly and did not seem like pets had been in the property. Property is a duplex. No problems with the neighbors. Does have slightly steep stairs.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in LS visiting family. 100% pleased with this home for our stay. Cleanest property we have ever used. Had everything we needed, including a child gate for stairs & high chair (we had a 1 y/o with us). Owner very responsive, easy to work with. Look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend!!

We arrived at the property no problem it looked as pictured i only wish we knew the living room kitchen master bedroom were located on second floor. With steep steps older family members had trouble navigating but all and all everything went smooth no major issues and enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable stay and centrally located

Our stay at Douglas's home was comfortable and it was nice to be centrally located. Great to have a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, and fans. Nice touch having a Keurig machine and coffee pods.

Perfect cozy place in Lee’s Summit

This is a beautifully updated duplex with a room for each part of the family! A king master, a queen bed that’s so quiet, and 2 twins perfect for the kids! The beds are comfy and the amenities are endless. Fully stocked bathrooms, large backyard with chairs and a grill, and the kitchen is ready for all your cooking needs! The view out front is a charming park where people walk and kids can play. The owner was quick to respond to any questions, and even reminded us how to use the grill if we wanted to cook outside. So quiet and cozy - we will definitely pick this place again next time we’re on the area :)

Great space

My dad and I traveled to Lees Summit to visit family. We are from the area so it was nice to have a place where others could meet us and visit. The duplex was updated and comfortable. The stairs are steep but the baby gate at the top keeps anyone from an accidental tumble. Doug was great to communicate with and I recommend staying here!

Great location perfect for a family of 5 or 6

This is a great location in Lee Summit, just outside KC. There were four adults and one teenager in our group. It was perfect for us. Very close to Hy-Vee grocery store and lots of restaurants. Property was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.
