Military families beware. The biggest issue we had was with the staff, specifically with the manager. We are a military family and we booked this hotel for a soccer tournament at the end of August for a November tournament. 10 days before the trip the government shutdown hadn’t been decided. So we tried to get our money back for one night. The manager would never even talk to us. The staff member that did talk to us kept giving us the run around and would interrupt my husband multiple times. We never did get a call back from the manager. The bigger kicker is they say they are “military supporters”. That is a lie and weren’t supportive at all. They really should take that sign down. They couldn’t be sensitive to the fact that we booked this way before the shut down and didn’t even have the decency to listen to our situation. They only cared about their money and no one else. If you are military I would avoid staying here. Also, they have a $2.99 fee that they charge for booking through Travelocity that they don’t mention until you’ve checked in. Like I said earlier they are money hungry. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was garbage. My husband got a milk for cereal and the milk was warm. My son had orange juice that tasted like chemicals.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Suites in Grandview, Missouri, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The suite itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed. I loved having a separate living area—it made the space feel more like a cozy apartment than a hotel room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The attention to detail, from the fresh linens to the well-stocked amenities, was truly impressive. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The variety of options was fantastic, catering to all tastes, and everything was fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to start my day. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Despite being close to everything, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, allowing me to relax and unwind after a busy day. Overall, my stay at Comfort Suites in Grandview exceeded my expectations. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made it a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning on my next trip!

Room was a good size and enjoyed having the sitting area. The top comforter had a stain or two on it so we just removed it, didn't need it anyway. Breakfast ends at 9am, even in the weekends which surprised me.
