A Great Little B&B

Scotland room is comfortable but it’s bathroom is tiny and cramp. Breakfast has been good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is good but TV streaming service is a bit wonky. Overall a good stay and good location if you want to be in downtown Independence area.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Woodstock. Our room was lovely - and absolutely spotless. Kim, the owner, is a kind and welcoming person. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We will absolutely stay here again if we go back to the Kansas City area.

I’ve never stayed at a B&B but this one is beautiful, it’s clean and nice and quiet. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on.

It is always a treat to come here. I do a staycation about once a month. Wonderful hospitality, always baked goods for nibbling. A lot of free drinks available. The different themes for each room adds to the "get away" aspect. Always nice. Breakfasts are pretty awful as it doesn't seem like anyone knows how to cook. I would avoid it and go out to eat. Some of the rooms needs some TLC...mostly nitpicky areas. The place is showing its age a bit.
