Brown Mountain Base Camp is nestled in between Keene and Lake Placid and is shielded by Brown Mountain itself. The 3 bedroom, one bath house is pet-friendly, has free laundry, free Wi-Fi, and a full kitchen, fully furnished. Served its purpose
We only needed it for a short stay. In the winter. It was a short ride to lake placid. It was clean, heat worked, had hot water, enough rooms and beds to sleep in. Had all the basics to get by. Just no toaster. Would stay again. The only thing I can say didnt work well. Was the wifi. But it was nice to disconnect. Just Hard to reach our loved ones in the evenings and find local places to get things.
