This was our first time staying at the Marquesa. The location is great since it’s right in the middle of town. Overall, it’s a great place and staff is very friendly. They charge a $45 resort fee per day which is steep considering they do not have many amenities there. The pools were nice and quiet. There is no gym on the premises. Another negative was they do not provide turn down housekeeping at night. However, the day time housekeeping was excellent. It was nice to have the continental breakfast (coffee was great) but they hardly had anything there! No protein options and no dairy free milk. They just had granola, muffins, croissants, corn flakes and bananas. No fresh fruit besides bananas and sometimes oranges. I’m dairy free and gluten free, so unfortunately I had no options to eat. It was still a wonderful stay and very charming and relaxing there. I just wish that they had better breakfasts, turn down nightly service and a gym! Then would be perfection!!! Again, thanks to the staff there! We will be back!

Location, location, location
Lovely hotel. Amazing location. Beautiful big rooms spacious bathroom. Loved the shower. We had a huge front porch with comfortable chairs and table to have breakfast at. Nice private back porch . These porches were just for my room. Every room had their own private porches. The grounds were inviting for relaxing. The hotel restaurant was wonderful but only open for dinner. The continental breakfast was lacking. It was good but all sweets , they really should had bagels or English muffins maybe a rotating protein bacon, sausage, ham or. Cheese. I would definitely stay here again Say hello to Bob the cat

We loved the location off Duval street but in the middle. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, had the best blueberry muffins. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
