Aloha and welcome to our 2 bedroom condo, your home away from home! My family and I live on Maui and we are so excited to host your vacation. Don't get stuck with a major rental company that doesn't care about your individual group. We take pride in providing personal touches and making sure that we personally check on our condos to ensure your trip is the best it can be.

Aloha and welcome to Kamaole Sands, in beautiful south Kihei, HI. Located directly across the street from the most popular beach in south Kihei, you are steps from the ocean as well as restaurants and shopping. Vacationing in Maui doesn't get better than Kamaole Sands. Set on 15 lush tropical acres, that include gardens, ponds and waterfalls. With some of the best amenities in Kihei, vacationing here is truly staying in paradise.

Amenities include a large swimming pool and spa, children's wading pool, fitness center, elevators, activities desk, 13 gas BBQ's, 5 picnic areas, ping pong tables ,4 tennis courts and security. Don't forget about the weekly Mai Tai parties. Every Wednesday come to the pool for complimentary Mai Tai's and music and dancing!

Our 2 bedroom 2 bath penthouse unit has been remodeled to give you the best vacation of your life. We have just put in 3 new a/c units in the condo! Split a/c units to run efficiently and keep you at the optimal temperature. There is elevator access to the 4th floor. With KOA hardwood floors and slate tiling to new furniture and bedding, this unit is designed to let you truly relax and enjoy Maui. The upstars master bedroom has a queen sized bed with new bedding, an ensuite bathroom and tv. The downstairs bedroom has two full sized beds also with its own television.

The remodeled kitchen, with granite counter-tops, is fully stocked and ready for you to prepare meals for your family. It connects to the dining area with seating for 6. There is an open concept to the living room so everyone can spend lots of time together. There is a queen size sleeper sofa, for any extra guests. To enjoy the warm Maui evening, take your dinner out on the over sized lanai and take in the view of the ocean. It is possible to see whales jump right from the condo in the right season.

We also have beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, sand toys and boogie boards for your use. There is an a/c unit in the main living room.

One parking spot is included. Kamaole Sands is a premier south Maui resort which offers many amenities that other resort don't. These include multiple swimming pools, a gym and weekly Mai Tai Parties. Upon arrival guests must check in at the front desk and pay the $40, one time, resort fee. Kamaole Sands will then present your parking pass needing to be displayed in your vehicle.
We also provide a pack and play for guests use.
Guests can cancel with no charge up to 60 days before the stay. 60-30 days is a 50% cancellation fee. Under 30 days is 100% cancellation fee.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen is very spacious (especially compared to the other 4th floor condos) and we had everything we needed for our 10 day trip. The beds are very comfortable and it was convenient to have a washer and dryer available to use. Highly recommended!

Pleasant stay at Kamaole Sands

The condo is roomy and comfortable, we especially enjoyed evenings on lanai. Resort grounds are beautiful. Location close to breaches is excellent. There were some clenliness issues in showers and with entry screen. Otherwise great place.

Great location, beautiful grounds, nice condo with some housekeeping issues!

This was our fifth trip to Kihei and our first stay @ Kameole Sands. The location is excellent in that it is just a short walk across from Kameole beach #3 and accessible to Kameole 1 & 2. Great boogie boarding and we were entertained by innumerable whale sitings. Between 1 & 2, we watched turtles and it appears to also be a good spot for snorkelling. Many restaurants are within walking distance as well as the Foodland grocery store. The resort has beautiful grounds that are very well maintained. The pool area is quite spacious and we never had any problem finding chairs. There are two hot tubs, a kiddie pool, pingpong table, pocket books and a concession that serves wonderful shaved ice as well as some food items. There are complementary maitais on Wednesday afternoon. The resort also has 3 tennis courts (free) which were readily accessible (signup sheet is at front desk). The penthouse condo is situated towards the back of the property near a security gate (for pedestrians and vehicles) and two high end and clean BBQs. A garbage chute is on the same floor as well as recycling. The view from the lanai is very nice. Three air conditioning units are quiet and keep the unit cool for sleeping! The beds are comfortable. Netflix is available on 3 TVs and there is a CD player. Wifi worked well as did the washer/dryer. Basic supplies are provided upon your arrival however would only sustain you for several days (6 in our group). After our departure we pointed out some improvements that could be made (cutlery, glasses, housekeeping issues, etc
) and were assured by the property manager that they would be addressed. We were forewarned about ants (common in tropical destinations) and they indeed were abundant especially in the kitchen area in the morning (keep your food items safely stored as well as the counters wiped). All closets were cluttered; the lanai closet contained items that should likely be discarded. Despite the fact that some inexpensive improvements could be made, all in all we had a wonderful stay. Great stay in the best part of Maui

Our experience was mostly positive. We arrived past midnight and checking in was quick and easy. If you come to a locked gate you can drive around to the other side. There is guest parking as well as the one park space reserved for this property. Couldn’t find a better location. Just a short walk to a perfect beach. Grounds were lovely, pool area was fantastic. 4 adults and 4 kids slept comfortably. Kitchen was decently stocked. Boogie boards and chairs were great to have. We added an umbrella to the collection. The place could use a deep scrub and some finishing (some baseboards missing, key missing from safe, construction materials taking up a lot of space in the closet, drawers could be washed out...that kind of stuff) but it wasn’t too bad. Nothing gross. Plenty of space. With the loft and the pullout in the main area, sound travels a lot so we found everyone kind of had to go to bed at the same time and be very quiet if you were the first up but that was fine. The welcome sheet says there is a gift basket full of local goods. There was no gift basket. Close walking distance to shopping and lots of food and lots of fabulous beaches. Overall we had a fantastic experience and I would recommend this property and would consider staying there again.

Kamaole Sands is a fantastic complex. The unit was nicely renovated and had a big patio with a great view. Is does overlook the road but the traffic is mild and there is a large open field on the other side full of birds which are lovely to listen too. There were a few aspects of the unit that needed some tending to but the owner was responsive to feedback. AC in all three rooms so temperature was well managed.
