Condo was clean and the layout was fantastic. Only issue we had was with the A/C. Unfortunately on the 3rd nite of our 7 nite stay there was a power loss to the entire complex. When the power came back 3 hours later the condenser on the balcony must have shorted out because the A/C continued to work but would not cool the condo below @78-82 degrees depending on time of day. Owner has a wifi thermostat and has a setting where the A/C turns off after 6 hours of use & if the bedroom door is not completely shut. Property management was slow to recognize that the A/C unit was broken, possibly confused thinking the wifi settings were causing the issue. Long story short it took until the final day for the property management to bring in some temporary interior A/C units so that we could finally get a good nites rest. The owner limits the A/C use to 6 hours consecutive. We did not know this when we rented as it was not stated in the description (our goal is to get 8 hours sleep, especially when on vacation). If the owner is looking to save money on the electric bill a better option might be to raise the price of the rental to cover the cost. On a side note we owned a condo in Vermont that we rented thru VRBO- imagine setting the temperature at 64 degrees and advising renters to wear a sweater? Unacceptable. Other than that the condo was a great location and met all of our expectations.
