This is a fmaily-friendly hotel situated to the east of Kingston city centre. There is a pretty little patio to the back of the building and a large common area or foyer that the hotel encourages patrons to use for socializing (which is a nice idea!). There are fast food options in the area and a pharmacy across the street. We had mixed feelings about breakfast, but there is a variety of foods available, hot and cold.

Room and facilities were very clean, staffs were nice. So many shopping places like grocery, dollarama, shoppers…fast foods, restaurants…plaza were within 2 minutes by foot, very convenient for travellers. Breakfast was good with decent options for most of people. Hot tub in the swimming area wasn’t available during the stay. Parking is charged for 6 dollars per night.

Keys don’t work. They kept re programming g out key but it still would not with. Their door system has a flaw in that you can’t open if one of your group is airway asleep in room. And locked the doors. Their masters still don’t work. We had to wake up our sleeping daughter to get into our room. No apologies for their ineptitude. Tried blaming us. And the fire alarm going off! Terrible!

We were short towels in our room for the number of people staying in room. Asked at desk for more and was told they would be put in room. Returned 4 hrs later and not there. Went myself to front desk and was given towels no problem. Went to shower, hair in tub/ not clean. Called desk and house keeping came quickly and washed tub. Could not lock door, dead bolt not working, just touching door ( not even using door handle ) and door opened. Called desk and maintenance came quickly and adjusted hinges on door. It is a ok property near the highway but I don’t like calling the front desk for numerous problems to just use the room. Never heard from a manager even though I asked twice. I would not return here.
