Loved our stay here. The room felt new and clean. A good amount of space. Adding breakfast to the stay was a great value, lots of options. The hotel is close to a lot of shopping and food too.

Great hotel offering all you need in location, very clean and quiet. Lots of western tourists here and keeps this standard. The central location couldn’t be better. I would stay here again. Our package included breakfast which was OK but it was very busy every morning even early before 8. Suggest to add another coffee station and greeter as both were overwhelmed with people. We visited during peak season in April, so may not be that crowded other times. This is only real improvement opportunity I could think.

Stay here if visiting Kyoto. Amazingly walkable part of town. So charming. Beautiful room with soaking tub and separate water closet. Comfy bed. Yummy buffet breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend. Most staff spoke English and were so helpful.

Lovely stay and well cared for in Kyoto

Stayed here for 5 nights with my adult children during cherry blossom season. We were so impressed with the hotel and its staff we changed our plans to travel to Osaka, and instead extended our stay in Kyoto two more nights. The hotel is centrally located near great shopping, restaurants, sites, and transportation. The staff is so kind and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and beds are luxuriously comfortable after a day of seeing beautiful Kyoto. Breakfast buffet is delicious and served in a beautiful room. I only wish the hotel bar was open in the evening so we could linger longer, but there are plenty of bars nearby.

Spacious room which can be hard to find in Japan. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff very helpful. Short walk to market, shops and Gion district.Would stay there again. Much nicer than its 3 star rating. Doesnt have a bar and no dinner restaurant.
