Wonderful place to stay

I had a wonderful stay at Sakura Terrace and ended up extending my stay 3 times because the hotel was so comfortable, convenient, clean, and welcoming. All the staff members are kind and professional. They enabled me to store my luggage after check-out until my train. The welcome drink, lounge coffee, and downstairs sento are also great. I would definitely recommend Sakura Terrace. Great value. I look forwarding to returning on a future visit.

Quiet Stay & Convenient Location

Pros: Room insulation and location
Cons: Room furniture
My husband and I have been travelled all over US, Europe, and Asia. This is the only hotel I never heard any noise from next door when I was in my room(good insulation). We both slept well without getting up during the night. It was not a fancy high end hotel and furniture was aged. But it was clean, quiet, and close to everything we needed. Kyoto train station and bus main station are 900 m away from the hotel. Love to buy pastries at Oreno Pan bakery in Kyoto train station and do grocery shopping at Aeon Mall(only 800 meters from the hotel). We definitely will stay here again if travelling in Kyoto.
