All our properties have beach towels, but beach equipment is limited.



The Neighborhood:

Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. All neighbors homes are very close. Please adhere to our house rules and the San Diego Good Neighbor Policy. Any fines issued for disturbances will be passed to the guests.



Getting Around:

Walk to the beach, bay, shopping, restaurants, and more! Only a five minute drive to Mission Beach and SeaWorld. 15 minutes from downtown, Little Italy and the airport.

Excellent Choice

The whole home is spacious and comfortable. Clean and quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Towels/linens are hotel quality. Nearby restaurants and shopping. Beautiful view. Pool and beach toys are available. Host was extremely accommodating. We are very glad to have chosen this home. If we return to San Diego we will choose this home again!

Loved this property. Views were incredible, walkable to restaurants (10 minutes). Pool could not get fully heated in time for us to use. Hot tub worked after calling. Kids wanted pool, so in winter months might have to have pm heat before arrival?

Excellent place to stay!

We stayed at this house with our son, his wife, and their four young children. This was a very safe neighborhood with easy access to the places we wanted to go (Legoland, Zoo, Sea World, Old Town, beach). The management company was VERY responsive on our first day helping us getting the pool and hot tub on the right settings to get heated. The kids loved swimming every day. We (the grandparents) stayed in the room behind the garage. We had read a review that it was small as it is basically a bathroom and a bedroom. But it was not an issue at all. We spent most of the time in the main house or outside. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great views of the ocean/city from both the top deck and the front porch deck.

Mostly amazing!!

We really did love this house! I want to start with that. We had 2 kids (4 & 7), my husband and I, my parents and my mother in law, just for reference. The house worked pretty well for our needs. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The kids liked the bunk beds. The queen beds in the rooms were very comfortable. The master bedroom and bath was fantastic... But I’d say the other rooms were tiny and the bathroom was very small. The house has lots up upgraded features but it is definitely dated in some ways. The “pool house” is actually a teeny tiny room with a super old bathroom set back in the corner behind the garage and I felt terrible that someone was outcast to this back room. One issue I’m going to be honest about was bugs. We were there early Oct and in the kids room and spare room, in the pool house, there were multiple massive nasty million leg critters. Maybe just needs sprayed. Also, maybe an Oct problem that isn’t the vrbo’s fault, the fog set in and we couldn’t see the ocean for most of the stay. But the patios were very nice. VRBO communications were answered quickly.

Our original Vrbo canceled on us less than 24hrs before our stay. Naturally, this was alarming with such short notice and limited options available since we wanted a private pool and enough bedrooms for our crew to be able to stay together. We were very grateful with how quickly we were able to rebook this house that seemed to check off all of our needs. Unfortunately, one of the bedrooms is separated from the main house which wasn’t very clear in the listing. Additionally, though I could’ve possibly overlooked it, the lack of AC was not clear. While we understand this is common in California, and they did have fans in the closets, we are from the South and sleeping without AC was uncomfortable in the middle bedrooms where breeze could not enter the windows as easily. The pool heater also seemed to not be working. We did check with the host and tried everything they mentioned, but the pool never got warm enough, which was a bummer since that was something we specifically looked for and chose to pay extra for. The skylight in the kitchen was also covered in large cobwebs which was a little off putting. HOWEVER, the host was very quick to respond. The ease of check-in was fantastic. The location is WONDERFUL, the neighborhood is beautiful, and the rooftop view with fire pit made made it easier to overlook our lack of available swimming! Though I’d suggest a bit more clarity and a few fixes, I would definitely still recommend this stay. Thanks to the hosts!
