- Very small room, no space for even a mini bedside table. - Have to get out of bed to turn the light off in the room - Nobody on location for check-in - Complicated informations, given by phone, for the parking lot location and use

I really enjoyed the small property atmosphere, like you were staying overnight at a friends house! We stayed in the suite so we had access to the large balcony with rocking chairs to sit and relax.

Hotel right on Front St in Lahaina.

Not my first time in Lahaina, but this hotel is very nice for those who are looking for entertainment at night.

This is a party -time Inn.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy
We booked at this historic Inn for the reason that it has more character than the cookie-cutter time shares down the street. However, we cannot recommend staying there to a couple going to Hawaii to rest and recharge their batteries. The night life is an ongoing throughout the night by the townspeople and hotel guests. We were surprised to see a "do not disturb" sign on the door next to ours in the morning after they kept us up all night partying and smoking on their balcony in a non-smoking room! On our last night the restaurant below was vandalized, six windows broken by a passing skateboarder, and after that my husband wants to try a different island.

good overall for the price.

For my purpose it was a good deal. I traveled alone and spent little time in the room. There was no table to sit at but I was able to take the one from the porch to do work on. The hot water in the shower was consistently luke warm in the mornings and would come on strong in the afternoons. Otherwise very convienent location.

We loved staying here.

Pros: Close restaurants, walk to lots of stuff!
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
Everything was just a few steps from our room which made it very convenient. The building is old - think 1920's and the rooms have changed very little. We happen to like things like this but if you are looking for something that is more modern, this is not the place for you. It's kinda like a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. The staff was kind and we felt welcome.

Recommend this hotel with some concerns-it's not for everyone.

Pros: nice balcony
Cons: No free Internet
This is a very small, old hotel. It has character and is close to shops and restaurants. Nice balcony. Parking is a short walk, expensive and somewhat inconvenient. Limited front desk staff and a cranky housekeeper made our stay challenging. It was an okay place if you only plan to use your hotel for sleeping. No amenities.

No staff on site

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, no staff, no breakfast vouchers
We were never advised that there is no staff on site after 7pm. We had to wait over an hour on the sidewalk for security at the hotel to drive to the inn to let us inn. Then once in we had no one there to get us missing supplies. No coffee maker, no mirror, and no dresser.
