We had an amazing stay and the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. They certainly made my son's 18th rememberable. A perfect location and facilities for all in our group (11 all up and multi generational). This was our second time staying here and will definitely be back.

Great for a first time visitor

As a first time trip to Bali The Jayakarta was the perfect place to stay from the boom gates and security at the front and back entrances 3 wonderful pools to swim in across the road from the beach and a few minutes walk to restaurants bars and massages, everything that I wanted The resort has a real Balinese feel to it buffet breakfast in the morning the food was good a couple of restaurants pool bar you don’t have to leave everything is there However the rooms do smell we had 3 rooms in different buildings and they all smelted a dampness kind of smell the beds were comfortable I felt the bathrooms thou they were clean perhaps could do with a good deep clean a disinfectant clean I also thought that there should be sanitizer around the resort at least ad you enter the resort and at the entrance to the restaurants there was none anywhere May I also suggest more umbrellas for shade there was not enough for everyone to enjoy lying around the pool and grounds Overall I did enjoy my stay and I would stay again

When we arrived at the Jayakarta they hadnt met the room requirements that we were assured would occur. We did end up in a different room upon 2 requests but the hotel was smelly. The front desk service was pretty poor too.

The resort is in a great area. Accessible to shop's and dining. Also walkable. My biggest complaint is the room is out dated. The restroom looks like a rundown public washroom. It needs immediate renovation.

We arrived and were put in room 506. If you are given this room don’t take it! The drain in the bathroom was so toxic that the whole room smelt like sewerage and you could feel it in your breathing. The room had no hot water pressure subsequently washing your hair was out of the question. The hot water took ten minutes to come through and then low and behold the air conditioning started leaking. We asked to be moved and five days later they did. They did try to fix everything but the toxic drain and water pressure were not able to be rectified. Worst stay ever. We have been coming here since the 1990s and will not be returning here again.

A reasonable location with plenty of place to eat close by. Only ate once at the restaurant on the first night as the service was very slow ( it was quite late though). We did have the free breakfast every day which was ok. Staff are very friendly.

Nice traditional hotel, fair priced, we got the interconnecting family rooms which was far away from the main hotel, but it wasn’t too far, would have loved to have stayed closed to the pool and restaurant. Easy walking to outside bars and restaurants and across the road from Legian beach. Heaps of shops around and little convenience stores close by. Staff were friendly but pool service staff not very attentive. I recommend to eat at the cultural buffet night where they had traditional Balinese dancing and a play/story which lasted a long time and good experience for adults and kids. Food was average but good enough. Overall a good stay. Travelled in early January 2025

The property like many in Bali is suffering from years of neglect in capital improvements. It is clean but tired. The staff are, on the whole, friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast is adequate but like the property lacking in inspiration. It is centrally located to the beach, restaurants and shops which is a plus.

Kind, helpful, friendly staff. We had a 1 bedroom apartment located closest to driveway entrance. Extremely noisy at night with extremely loud music & singing blasting all night long. Yes, it is Bali & you will expect a lot of fun & noise, however, double glazing would be advised for this section. Room was serviced daily & a good job was done, however, this room on level 4 was very outdated & almost looked like a relic from the 1970’s or something. There was an extra guest of ours who had the fold out sofa lounge- this didn’t have a mattress, it was the rock hard leather seating which folded out only. We had laundry service twice which was excellent & priced accordingly. Buffet breakfast had a lot of variety & open from 6am - 10am Thank You

The property is huge so many different people staying there. We had to ask to move from our apartment which was near a road with a thumping nightclub over the road! We were moved to a much quieter room which was fine. There were 3 swimming pools one with a swim up bar ( which we hate) but patrons were allowed to play their own raucous music from the am until 6 pm daily which was super annoying to say the least. There was no peace anywhere during this time - not every day. Many clients were elderly and I’m sure hated it as much as we did. However the staff were terrific all lovely. The food was great and the gardens beautifully maintained. However too many “ yobbo “ type people staying there- annoying My husband had an accident while there and there’s an on site nurse and a Dr was also called. The staff definitely made up for the loud music.
