Gorgeous home in Les Damps with WiFi

Situated on the banks of the Eure River, this vacation home is ideal for a family vacation in a region that has a lot to offer. The house awaits its guests 15 km south of Rouen. Here it enjoys a quiet location on the 3,000 m² large and very beautiful garden plot of the landlords. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Relax on your pleasant terrace or in the garden, and amateur anglers are also in good hands here thanks to the very short distance to the Eure. Just a stone's throw away, a forest invites you for beautiful walks, and 1.7 km away is a great recreational area for picnics and water sports. Visit Rouen with the Historial Jeanne d'Arc, its cathedral, a Fine Arts Museum, and the impressive Palace of Justice. Louviers (11 km) with the Église Notre-Dame and the Convent Saint-Louis is worth a visit, as is Château Gaillard (30 km). This partially destroyed medieval fortress near Les Andelys was built by Richard the Lionheart and now houses a museum about river navigation. For art lovers, Giverny (42 km) is a must. Visit there the house of Claude Monet with the beautiful garden that served as a great source of inspiration for this famous painter. Pleasant period property, good WiFi, nice and warm, furniture fairly uncomfortable, didn't appreciate having to do what is usually done by housekeeping ie stripping all the beds and leaving downstairs.

Wonderful stay in Normadie!

We loved the time we spent at Philippe and Christian's place in Normadie. This super cute little house is set in a big garden and located right on the banks of the Seine where you can go for long walks in nature. The house is well equipped with everything you need and the Phillipe and Christian were wonderful hosts . We would highly recommend and look forward to coming back !

Philippe y Christian hicieron que nuestra estancia en Normandía haya sido maravillosa. Viajamos con mucha frecuencia a casas de turismo rural, pero ninguna tan perfecta como esta. La casa está bien equipada, el jardín es maravilloso y los anfitriones increíbles. Seguro que volvemos en otra ocasión.

Urlaub 2019 in Les Damps

Tolle Anlage und ganz nette Vermieter. Sie waren stets vor Ort und man konnte alles klären, wenn nötig war. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt war der Geschirrspühler, dessen Funktionalität war im schlechten Zustand. Aber das ist sicher auch dem Umgang der Urlauber selbst geschuldet.....
