As a guest of The Liver View, you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and a picnic area. A computer station is on site, and both WiFi and wired Internet are free in public spaces. Free self parking is available.
This 3-star Wallasey bed & breakfast is smoke free.
The Liver View hotel is a converted early 19th century building in Wirral. It is a five minute walk from the Seacombe Ferry terminal. The ferry takes you to the other side of the Mersey river (i.e to Liverpool proper) in about 10 minutes.
Commuter ferries (as they are called) run weekday mornings (to Liverpool) and evenings (from Liverpool). On weekends, only "tourists" ferries operate so my advice would be to take a Wirral line train to Central Liverpool at Hamilton Square station (a 5-7 minute ride). they run very frequenly including on weekends.
Buses 124, 125, 409 and 409 operate from Seacombe Ferry terminal to Hamilton Square station (a 10 minute ride).
the place is very quiet (don't expect a bustling nightlife in the area !) but the view over Liverpool (Cunnard Building, Liver Building (hence the name!), Albert Docks and other major landmarks) is stunning.
The rooms are big and airy and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast is simple but top-rate and served in the conservatory.
Dave, the manager, is awfully nice and his dog (didn't grasp his name though!) cute and affectionate.

Everything about The Liver view is perfect. The check in process was swift and hassle free. David was there to welcome us,and showed us to a lovely room. The bed was very comfortable with high quality linen and a duck down quilt. The Liver view staff - David ,Shirley and Kai's mothher were so helpful and welcoming we felt like we were staying with family.
Had a brilliant stay, everywhere clean and tidy, breakfasts were great, Our hosts Dave & his Mum were amazing. Would stay there again. Close to bus and ferry routes.
The owner was great, we were running late because of the terrible weather and he waited for us to arrive. The room was spotless and of a high standard. The location was great with a good location next to the Mersey Ferry. The breakfast was really nice as was the lady who served us, she was really chatty and made us feel welcome. The staff were really helpful and gave us some great advice. Lovely stay with lovely people ( their little dog was a superstar too)
