The building is lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff gave us a warm welcome and I can see why it receives a lot of good reviews. The down side for us was the area at night. It is surrounded by bars and clubs and the youngsters get very rowdy! If we were 20 years younger it probably wouldn’t bother us, but a girl had been sick in the doorway (it wasn’t good) but to be fair, the staff did sort it quickly. To summarise, lots of positives but not for 60+s !!!

A female member of the afternoon reception staff was great. Noisy. No sleep. This hotel is located in Party Central. It’s described as a quiet haven, which frankly is a misrepresentation. Avoid if you are over your student life as you will not be able to sleep.

Very clean room, great facilities in the room itself. Very friendly staff - at check in and check out but also whenever I passed the front desk. The bed was really comfortable and (although it was cold outside) the room was comfortable and warm. I really enjoyed my stay.
