Our properties at 'The Woodlands at Hocking Hills' have been our answer to serenity, slowing down time, and intentionally engaging and enjoying each other's company. We hope it will be a space that inspires you to do the same!

Magnolia Grove Lodge is located right next door and accommodates up to 20 guests, making it a perfect option to rent together for larger gatherings. For those seeking a smaller, cozier option, explore our sister property, The Woodlands at Hocking Hills-Notestone Cabin.

Hocking County is a very rural county with curvy and hilly roads that require cautious driving. The roads leading to the lodge are paved two-lane highways along with 1 ½ lane gravel scenic roads that may require a 4-wheel drive during inclement weather or any significant snowfall. There are no refunds due to inclement weather.

Part of the Woodland Lodge driveway is paved to make coming and going a little easier for guests.

This was the most comfortable VRBO I’ve ever stayed in! Our group loved every part of the house! The house was so clean, updated, it had space for everyone and we all LOVED the game room! Our family met here for the end of one college spring break to the beginnings of a high school spring break. We celebrated several birthdays also. The house was perfect for us. We liked every detail. Great kitchen and the game room was a highlight! It is close to the trails and caves and not far from stores if needed. We experienced summer and winter weather which is always a treat in Ohio! We did experience WiFi troubles but it was because of very high winds. As the grandma in this situation I secretly liked not having it! Thanks for making our stay cozy!

Wonderful Family Cabin and Great Location

This Cabin was the perfect fit for our Family. It is located close to hiking trails and is close to town for grocery shopping, putt-putt golf, canoeing and trips for ice cream!! The Cabin is clean and has great resources to be a home away from home while on vacation.

We had the most wonderful time at The Woodlands! I left a nice review on Google, but want to let everyone here know that this house offers a crazy amount of amenities that is sure to please a wide variety of interests. There were 6 of us and we found thus home to be spacious and comfortable, providing everything we needed for our stay. The game room was a blast and the firepit was a wonderful bonus at the end of busy days. Communication with the owners was easy peasy and always pleasant. I would recommend this home for a short-term or a long-term stay;)

This was a family vacation for 10 of us and it was incredible! The house was a dream, with everything exactly as described. We were able to take advantage of some of the local attractions while still having plenty of time to enjoy playing games in the game room, soak in the hot tub, play board games and just sit around and visit. Our kids (age 7 through 15) were never bored and adults had plenty of talk time, too. It was a great stay! Thank you!

LOVED this cabin! It has plenty of space and makes entertaining large groups easy. From the game room to the hot tub, multiple fire pits and a hot tub. Plenty of space and was perfect for what we wanted. It was clean and had everything we needed. Host was very communicative.

This was a fantastic weekend away for our family. Kids had a great time; adults had a great time! Lots of games and things to do in the house, and great walking at the outdoor property. Ages from 2 to 64 had a great time! Hosts were great and answered brief questions we had. Highly recommended!

Amazing Family Getaway

The Woodlands Lodge surpassed any and all expectations. The home provides entertainment and relaxation in every way possible. The game room, the media room, the open dining & living area, the fire pits, the hot tub and the woods all create a wonderful Hocking Hills environment. I highly recommend this place for a single family as well as multiple families that want to hang out together.
