Don’t do it

Unfortunately I have to recommend against this property. A positive to this listing is it is walkable to the most amazing park for children 10 and under I’ve ever seen. There are many grocery stores and a few fast food places but at least a 10-15 minute walk which can be onerous. Same can be set about 2 of the 3 metro lines. 1 is not too bad of a walk. Taking the trash out is annoying because you have to carry it down the street a ways. As for the property, it just needs some attention. There are paint chips, tiles coming off the wall etc. it is very cramped for a family of 4+ especially the kitchen although there is plenty refrigerator space. The laundry machine is adequate as are supplies to cool. The kitchen is just too small. Also it is HOT HOT in the place. We were provided with 3 fans , 1 for each bedroom and 1 for the largest room. It just did not cut it. So overall if you have a family staying
don’t do this one but try to find one in the area due to its proximity to Kensington Park.

Disappointing

The pictures gave high hopes, but the flat was not very clean. The comforter had yellow stain which reeked of urine. There is a school upstairs, so you get woken up with screaming kids. Location is great though. I did let the host know about the situation in case he was unaware (perhaps cleaning crew was lacking), and he was apologetic.

Great location

This was an unreviewed property when we decided to take a chance and book our stay here. Booking, communication, check-in information all were professional and went smoothly. The unit could use a small starter laundry detergent. There were 4 bath towels for 4 people, and the washer/dryer unit, while convenient, took about 6 hours to wash and dry the towels. Extras would be helpful. (We did request extra towels part way into our stay, and they were delivered within a day). Overall, this unit is comfortable, well-located, relatively quiet (residents above sometimes heavy-footed, but generally quiet by 10pm). We wouldn’t hesitate to book this apartment again, and found Pedro to be pleasant to communicate with.
