Have stayed here many times and have always had a great stay. This time it was not the case, given a tiny room which was supposed to be a double room. The room had one bedside cabinet, one light above the bed and a tiny bathroom. The shower was above the bath and it was a high step to get into the bath to have a shower, also do not like shower curtains. The view from the room was terrible, all you could see was pigeon netting. This is the worst room we have stayed in.

Excellent breakfast. Staff especially Sharma was very accommodating and took care of our breakfast early in the morning. We requested if possible to have early breakfast since we have to leave at 6 am to catch our Expat Explore Bus/Coach Tour. Sure enough breakfast was prepared for us in the lobby at 5:30 am. Highly recommend this hotel.

Wedding. Member of staff demanded I leave the garden when cake was being cut. I have crutches and a boot. I said multiple times I wanted to stay in the garden. She insisted I leave the garden to watch the cake being cut. She said the cake could not be cut if everyone was not there.I wanted to avoid walking backwards and forwards and up and down the stairs. Awful way to treat a customer. Who clearly is going to struggle to walk.

Stayed for a wedding at the hotel. The room was incredibly hot and the provided fan did very little to cool it down. Would not be fit for purpose on any hot London days over 25 degrees! So this made it uncomfortable for us. On the plus side, very nice staff and excellent breakfasts.

We used this hotel for 2 nights as it was very convenient for O2 concert....bus stop just outside and 108 bus runs 24hours Blackheath itself quite and everything you may need and just a short bus ride to the tube. The hotel staff very pleasant and informative and the breakfast was superb and we will be visiting again!

The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The village of Blackheath is super cute and convenient to London. In addition to the train right around the corner from the hotel, there is also the opportunity to take an Uber boat into London. The walk to the pier is a bit longer than the walk to the train, but it is through the beautiful Greenwich park, so definitely worth it.

I choose this hotel for the location for an event I attend, I have now stayed twice, and I forgot that it has no air con so on the hot days/nights the room was stifling as I walked in, they do provide a wall mounted fan, but it is noisy when running all night. And the shower head need to be more powerful.
