Malibu Sand Suite #15 is a part of a multi unit complex compromised of 6 Apartments and 1 main house. This particular unit is a spacious 2 bedroom with 2 pullout sofa's perfect for families or friends traveling. Its has 2.5 baths with a kitchenette (Full sized fridge, microwave, 4 burner gas cooktop, Breville toaster oven and Nespresso machine - we provide pods, creamers and sweeteners). 1 of the bedrooms has a balcony overlooking the courtyard and main house. Free parking on site on a first come first serve basis.



**All credit card payments are subject to a 3.55% processing fee, shown at checkout. A 3.55% processing fee also applies to any additional service charges, including pre-stocking, mid-stay cleaning, pool heating, and similar services. The guest name must match the name on the credit card. For international credit cards, an additional 1.5% may be charged after booking to account for exchange rate differences—bringing the total fee to approximately 4.7%. If you prefer not to incur this fee, payment by bank wire is available. Guests wishing to pay by bank wire must notify our team prior to booking so we can provide instructions and ensure the correct payment method is arranged.



Guest Access:

Please note that guests who are staying in the Malibu Sand suites do not have access to the elevated beach surface at Malibu Sand or the elevated beach surface at SA Beach which is the property that we manage next door. There is a house on the Malibu Sand property that rents completely separate from the suites. The elevated beach surface and the rooftop jacuzzi area are reserved for the house. If you'd like to rent a suite and have access to an elevated beach surface with sand and lounge chairs, please rent one of our SA Beach suites next door! Access to CURE Wellness and Gym is also included, conveniently located nearby (not onsite).



The Neighborhood:

Dubbed "Billionaire's Beach" by locals, Carbon Beach has become one of the most popular and requested beaches in Malibu. Known for its long sandy beaches makes Carbon perfect for long walks on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. You will be steps away from Nobu, the SoHo House, and seconds away from the sand. You can walk to Surfrider beach or the Malibu Pier from the beach access onsite, or you can walk a little further to the Country Mart for the best restaurants and shops in Malibu. There are always new shops opening nearly every day.



Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.



Getting Around:

Malibu Sand Suites are located in the heart of Malibu within walking distance to the Malibu Pier and just steps away from Malibu's most iconic beach, Carbon Beach. The Malibu Country Mart is approx. 1.2 miles and is reachable by foot or car. Since this villa is managed by us, you will automatically receive preferred rental rates through Drive Awhile. Drive Awhile simplifies the car rental process by leaving your rental car at the property with keys inside. You can also leave the car at departure and work with our concierge to arrange your airport transfer. Just like our villas, all of our cars are well-optioned vehicles, ranging from Black on Black Cadillac Escalades (perfect for families) to a convertible Mercedes (perfect for couples) to a Rolls Royce Dawn to a Lamborghini Urus. Drive Awhile has something for everyone, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.



Other Things to Note:

To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully.



1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names before booking. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave.



2) No pets allowed except for service animals as required by law.



3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW.



4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If needed, send it to our office; we'll deliver to the property on your arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail.



5) Quiet hours: 10:00pm to 8:00am to ensure peaceful atmosphere for all guests and neighbors. Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.



7) Day of Arrival:

Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show their ID for security.



8) Check-In: We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early check-in is based upon availability and will need to be approved by our team. Please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches. If you are arriving later than 6pm, please reach out to our team for approval.



Standard checkout time is 10:00 AM

Late checkout is available up until 12:00 PM for a fee of $50 per hour. Guests must notify our team in advance if they would like a late checkout, as this requires rescheduling our cleaning team. Late checkouts must be approved by our team prior to confirmation



9) When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.





10) Pre-Stocking: Choose from our available pre-stocking options with at least one week's notice. A $95 service fee applies to all requests.



11) Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.



12) Parking:

There are three garage ports at the Malibu Sand property; however, only the second and third ports are for the guests staying at the Malibu Sand Suites. The second port can accommodate two vehicles and the third can accommodate one vehicle. So, there are a total of three spots. You will receive one parking pass and you cannot park in any of the three spots without the parking pass. If you are not able to get a spot, then you will need to park on PCH. Note that the handicap spot is ticketed by the police - as are all handicap spots in California. So, do not park there - or anywhere - without the relevant pass(es). The police will not hesitate to charge you +$500 for parking where you shouldn’t.



Cleanliness:

We take our cleaning seriously. You can trust that our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. All of our homes have white hotel-style linens, white towels, toiletries for our guests, and well stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. Amid COVID-19, our cleaning intensified: surfaces wiped with hot water and disinfectants. All towels and linens washed, regardless of appearance; many hotels don't. Door handles and high-touch spots get extra care. Staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. Our exceptional cleaning surpasses CDC standards.



This property contains an exterior camera at the front door which is motion sensored and is active during guests stay.

We had hoped for a bit more access to beach view, sound or otherwise. Our view was street facing, which should be announced in listing. Wished there was access to beach chairs etc with each unit. A wonderful staycation

If you're looking for a clean, modern, and spacious place with unbeatable views of the ocean, this is the place to be! The beds are way more comfortable than most hotels. The sofa beds are hard, but the children didn't notice until day 4. The dining table had plenty of space to fit a family of 7. The location is unbeatable. Not only are you right on the beach, you're also in walking distance to stores, restaurants, and the pier. Just be aware that this listing includes only one parking spot and parking on PCH in the afternoons are difficult. However, we live nearby and were aware of that. The only issue we ran into were constant glitches with the VRBO app and delayed messaging relay, but that's not the responsibility of the host. They host is responsive and friendly. We'd definitely come back in the summer!!

Extremely clean and beautiful property. Garden was gorgeous. You do have to climb over some rocks if you go down the stairs to the beach and when tide is high it’s not accessible but there is a public access right next to the building that is very easy and was not crowded at all. Management was extremely prompt and responsive and so very nice. Worth the money and we usually do not spend this much but really loved this space.

Pros: Great experience. The villa was clean and peaceful and at a great location in Malibu. Both away from the crowd and close to many restaurants. Staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were clean and private enough for a group of people. If you’re renting a car, there’s a garage parking and even when we couldn’t snag it there was easy street parking. Cons: Only cons was wishing we had more direct communication with the staff. We realized on our last day we missed out on some nice rooftop views; we were bummed we didn’t get a tour. Overall this is a villa we would stay again!

Leider war das Apartment an einer sehr stark befahren Straße. Es war extrem laut. Wir hatten fĂŒr 5 gebucht, die Ausstattung war fĂŒr 4 und insgesamt sehr dĂŒrftig Keine SpĂŒlmaschine. Das Apartment war sauber und die regulĂ€ren Betten waren bequem, das Schlafsofa nicht zum schlafen, extrem hart

Clean and comfortable

We had a great stay! The property is exceptionally clean (loved the Japanese toilets/bidets)! The layout allowed our entire family to stay comfortably. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and efficient. Was a little confused on layout in the online photos (we tried to do the virtual tour but I think it was of another unit). :) The common area with grass and lounge chairs near the ocean offered gorgeous views. Great location! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a great property. We are in Malibu 4-5 times a year and will make this one of our go tos!

Great property. Clean, easy. Nicely decorated. Everything you need. Great beach access and close proximity to everything in Malibu! You won’t be disappointed.

The place was clean and modern, great amenities including Nespresso and well stocked. Fabulous beachfront location of the complex (though NOTE this specific unit is interior facing). The property manager TeJay was very helpful and responsive. The check in process is slightly wonky after hours but TeJay stayed late to assist. Good stuff!
