++ I do not recommend ++ 1. Apon check-in, the hotel advised that they DO NOT offer room service until AFTER 6 NIGHTS. That is just ridiculous. 2. The $30/day parking was not listed on the web site. Would not stay here again.

This property was close to the airport and the shuttle was convenient. We arrived a little early and the room was not ready yet, however the front desk held our luggage for us so that we could go get some food. The room was nice and comfy. I do wish that the description for breakfast was that it is a paid service, not "provided." I feel that was misleading. Our AC unit was very loud. We did not mention it to the front desk, as I did not realize that it wasn't supposed to sound like that. Knowing what I know now, I would still stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Location is convient and close to LAX without congestion issues. Staff needs better training not to promise breakfast vouchers then not provide them and how to handle fire alarms. Staff were not helpful and clueless, unacceptable in case of an actual emergency.

Thankful for the late night hotel shuttle (last run is midnight). Checked in for a one night layover to be able to rest horizontally and get a fresh shower. Everything was in the room even a coffee maker, microwave and sofa. I just didn't like that the towels smelled of cigarettes.

AVOID

Stayed here for a business trip. Requested early check-in as my flight arrived early, I arrived at the hotel around 11:00am, they informed me there was an "early check-in fee" which I agreed upon at that time as It would have allowed me to go to the room and rest for awhile. Several hours later (after waiting in the lobby) at around 3:00 pm they informed me a room was finally ready. Expecting they would wave the early check in fees since I had to wait several hours and it was only an hour or so until the normal check-in time (4pm - which is late compared to other hotels, normally 2-3pm check-in). They did not inform me until check-out when they asked if I would like a receipt for the early check-in fees. Besides that, the rooms are old, smell bad, were not properly cleaned prior to my arrival.

Upon checking in around 8pm the gentleman who checked me in was the nicest and most helpful, staff person I could ever ask for ! The night shift staff and early morning staff , nothing like that. Even the coffee bar gentleman was extremely rude to not only me, but the guests in front of me . The room was clean, dated , but clean. But the smell in the hallways and lobby and it actually lingers into rooms as well , is so over whelming I woke up with a headache . It’s bad . It’s clearly a scented air freshener they put in their heating cooling system but it’s awful . My clothes even smell of it from being in the room over night. The linens smell like it , it’s just way too much and I love all kinds of candles and room air fresheners but this was horrible . And like I said I wasn’t hoping to start out my day in California with a horrible headache or cold, unfriendly customer service . So for what I paid ? I would never stay again.
