Fantastic location, unfortunately that's the best thing about it. Not very safe nearby, not walkable. Noisy and very thin walls. I could see light through the crack in the door and bigger than average gap under the door. The thankfully held my luggage but didn't offer water. Decent place, very average. Nothing special. Wouldn't choose this place again.

It's a small quaint hotel. Prefect for us. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and the water pressure was just right. Loved it!

The staff was friendly and professional ..The rooms where clean.. Location is great for walking around hollywood This is not the hotels fault but.. the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that goes on in other rooms and you have to leave your hotel room every 2 hours to pay for parking meter..

Outside of the parking situation, this is a great spot. Friendly staff, small but tidy room with a safe. Walkable to the Hollywood Bowl and many other places. The suggested parking lot was full and I lucked out with a metered spot, but that's an inconvenience for sure if you're bringing a car.

Basic Room at a Good Price
It's a nice, clean, simple room (Queen bed, refrigerator and A/C). Good room at a good price. Had a bit of noise from our upstairs neighbor one evening (it felt like they were jumping off of the bed onto the floor at 3a...I am sure they must have been having a nice time of it...) other than that, no issues with noise. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy (as is a lot of Hollywood Blvd to be honest) so I did subtract a star for that. It's not the Hotel's fault, but as a guest, you do need to be aware. I would recommend this as a place for younger couples/individuals, not so much for older folks. Bonus, The Scum and Villainy Cantina is a block away and a great Star Wars Cantina themed bar to knock down some of Aunt Beru's famous Blue Milk.

This is a very basic property. Few amenities and services. Yet, for our purposes it was fine. Very convenient location to walk to Hollywood bars, restaurants, and attractions. Front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. We did have a first floor accessible room which was by the front door and stairs. There is no elevator. Thus, not unexpectedly, there was a higher noise level than would be expected in other rooms. The morning after our first night there seemed to be a “domestic disturbance” in the room above ours which was loud. However, the occupants vacated the property before the need to engage staff to quell the situation. Given the earlier experience with the staff, I am confident they would have handled it well.

It's not the hotel's fault the area has gone downhill. Housing rates and the corporatocracy has done that to multiple cities. But fix the bathroom window on the ground floor, room 107, where someone could easily break in. Make the rooms NOT smell like bathrooms. Fix the holes in the walls. Make sure you don't walk into my room when I already got my key, closed the door, and sat on the toilet. It was an accident, of course, but it was certainly a first. Kept it bolted after that! I like the office staff though. Nice people. They helped me find weird stuff to jam in my broken ground floor window to keep it closed.

My room had several problems, starting with foundation room was uneven, walls dirty, the bed had a hole and I ask for a new room and didn’t want to chance me and many more things
